This book helps explain so many of the phrases, terms, locations, items, etc. in the bible. It is enjoyable to just thumb through it and stop on a word, and say " ghee, I didn't know that" I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in the bible.

I find this book to be very informative.There are a lot of words in the Kings James that you've never probably heard of,because of the time era,or cultural.Having the Zondervan's Compact Bible Dictionary is a must have.It's the bridge between you and history.
