I first heard this album at a natural food restaurant - I couldn't wait to finish the meal and buy the album!

Zone unknown is an extraordinary musical experience, akin to an evolving acoustic collage. It has music that I can listen to when I want to think, when I want to dance, and even when I want to bribe the kids to go to bed.

I don't yet know if Gabrielle Roth and the Mirrors other offerings are as outstanding, but my bet is that few people will be disappointed with this album. It's an easy winner!

I discovered this album a few years ago. In 2005, I used it as a soundtrack while working on my techno-thriller THE RIVER.

The album, though short, offers a variety of sounds and beats. I found it quite mesmerizing. The tribal drums and beat in many of the songs worked perfectly to inspire me as I worked on scenes in my thriller. During chase scenes and other intense scenes, Zone Unknown and its suspenseful tracks urged me on and kept me going.

Inspiring, tribal, exciting, suspenseful, this instrumental album offers an edgy sound that may bring out your creativity.
