Just put this cd in the player and relax. There's nothing groundbreaking here but he never said there was. He's a very talented musician and deserves respect for his accomplished sound !!

Tisdale's "In The Zone" offers a nice blend of true Funk, RB, and Jazz. This is a good disk for in the car, Partying whatever. Must have for any fan of the Bass.

This is by far the "Best of the Best" I just saw him at the Capitol Jazz Festival with Dave Koz (another one of my personal favorites). Wayman is just incredible. I also saw him at a small gathering yesterday to kick off his new CD, he is awesome, and just think he plays by ear, he doesn't read music !!! He is honestly blessed !!! Mel from Baltimore

"In The Zone" by NBA star/Jazz Guitarist Wayman Tisdale is good. But that's about it. There are tracks, such as "No Me Without You", "5 Day Road Trip", and the title track "In The Zone", that are truly excellent. However, the rest of the songs seem as though we've heard them before, and tend to be a little formulaic. This album is nowhere near the level of Wayman Tisdale's "Power Forward", which is one of the most played CD's in my house. Wayman Tisdale has real talent, and it's apparent here in "In The Zone"...unfortunately, the songs here do very little to show that off. All the same, Tisdale does shine on certain tracks, and the amazing talent of his band make this a CD worth having.

Love this cd, along with Power Forward - Great Jazz Artist! O U T S T A N D I N G!!! Love the price as well :))

I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to this CD. I'm a Tulsan where Wayman played basketball for BTW High School. His music brought back lot's of memories.
Product was just what I expected, it was in perfect condition.

Wayman will be missed,his music is the best.Listening is very easy,I have every cd he ever made.

I've been listening to Jazz for a while now but this is the first jazz cd that I have purchased recently. It is so good! Maybe it's the basketball connection, maybe it's the jazz, maybe it's WT, but this cd is great. It is so smooth.

One of those rare albums that got me, well.... in the zone. I wasn't too hot on WT before, and when I someone gave me thisCD I didn't play it for the longest time. Until one day I just popped it in the player, and it's been doing overtime ever since. Just plain good stuff - perfect for those rushhour commutes to and from work... chills you out, and sets you up for a relaxed approach.

What can I say except that the man is a Gem.
How is it that some folk just have what it takes?
To be the very best at more than one thing.
Sing ,play the guitar and run up and down the court like
he owns them all.
This and everything the man touches turns to Gold.
This was the first of his works that I heard.
After just a few days of this sample.
I was out to buy more and more.
Every cut is a favorite of mine.
Please dig -In the Zone ,Don't take your Love away ,
Summer Breeze and his rendition of Star Ship.
These songs bring more of a smile to my face and fill my mine
with many possibliies.
If I'm angry at someone I cannot stay angry for long if
Wayman's Music is in ear shot.
Pretty powerful stuff "HuH".
The photo's of him in the sleeve of this particular cd
are magnificent.
He should never allow anyone else ,to photogragh him eccept that person.
I wish I could find a 11"/16' of everyone of them to hang on my wall.
Get this and all of his stuff ,you will not be sorry.
