I was looking for a replacement for PowerBars (need more protein and less carbo now that I am getting older). These bars were very balanced and taste great. Even the wife (picky eater) started eating all these bars for breakfast so now I must order them in bunches.

These bars fit the 40/30/30 profile advocated by the Zone Diet. That means 40% carbs, 30% protein, 30% fat. Note: These are not low fat! However, they're pretty tasty, and I've gotten used to eating a strawberry yogurt bar every morning for breakfast. Much easier than a bowl of cereal or an egg sandwich. No dirty dishes! They're surprisingly filling too. They help keep my diet structured, and I don't feel deprived. Amazon subscriber's price is about the same cost per bar as Walmart where I live.

This is my favorite out of all of the zone bars. I enjoy the taste so much that I gladly eat one of these to tame my "snacking" urge as opposed to a candy bar, cookie, etc.

Let me start off by saying these bars taste great. They have alot less carbs in them that other leading nutritional bar brands. 14grams of protein per bar and they fill you up nice. Also amazon has priced them very nicely, a great buy

We're in an evolution period in human nutrition right now. These bars were on the cutting edge 10 years ago, but contain too much questionable and unnatural ingredients to make it in today's world. Yes, they taste pretty good, especially the Strawberry one, but High Fructose Corn Syrup in a protein bar? Come on now! Change the formulation to include low glycemic sweeteners like Agave Nectar, and this bar might be worthwhile.

I've been putting pure foods in my body for years, and these bars make me feel lousy.

Came exactly as I expected it to...and was the same as buying it in the store (except cheaper & more convenient).

When a product is entitled "Strawberry Yogurt", I expect it to have strawberries in it. Actually, this bar contains "strawberry-flavored cranberry pieces", which taste much more like cranberries than strawberries. With the correct fruit, this would be a good snack, as it is high in protein and has a good yogurt coating.

These bars are over two dollars each at this price. you can get them at walmart for less than one dollar per bar. You gotta be dumb to pay this.

I've tried many different snack bars, looking for something with high protein, low carbs/calories. I tend to be a picky eater, so it took a long time to find strawberry zone bars, but from the first taste, I was hooked. I've never tired of them, which is really surprising, and it is a perfect "pick me up" when you want/need something to eat, don't have time to make anything, and don't want to eat rubbish. Perfect for that rushed lunch at the office, as I can have a yoghurt/fruit handy, and very filling. The yoghurt layer tastes like chocolate, which adds to the eating pleasure. BTW, it is always out of stock when I need to buy some, it's the only slimfast bar that sells out as soon as it appears in CVS or Giant. Thank heavens for Amazon and prime shopping!

Called Abbots Labs - they use Genetically Modified Soy in all their Zone bars. Do your research. Don't eat GMO's and call your government representatives to demand that all GMO products be labeled. They are not safe. I used to buy 2 boxes every 2 months or so. No more. Break the habit.
