My security suite was nearing renewal. Since I wasn't happy with my virus protection (a nasty virus escaped detection) I contacted my younger son for advise. He is in management at a large processor company in Austin. He recommended three and told me since they were about equal it would be my choice which one I would purchase. I chose Zonealarm Internet Security Suite 2010. I had used Zone Alarm in the past. I was not disappointed. While it took longer than expected to uninstall my previous program and then install Zonealarm, it was well worth it. I have to tell on myself - I was starting to talk back to my computer when I was having a problem registering my software until I back tracked and found a step I had missed. The rest of the install was a piece of cake. When I went to the computer in the family room it took less time to install. I still have a net book waiting for installation of Zonealarm. My experience with ZASS2010 has been a positive one and I would tell all that the quality and price of this product is worth purchasing.

I purchased this product after buying another Anti-Virus software product that did not work on my computer. I am very satisfied with Zone Alarm. No problems and No complaints. The software runs in the background monitoring my internet activity to safely warn me of suspicious downloads and dangerous sites. It has also cleaned some very rouge trojan viruses and worms off my computer that I did Not even know were there. Thank you Zone Alarm for doing such a great job on my desktop computer.

What a resource pig this software is - it will bring your computer to a dead halt whenever it updates your virus definitions (which it insists on doing daily). I've been a computer professional for 20 years - I know the need to run a firewall and antivirus. But I am so sorry I switched to ZA - it was good ten years ago, but now it is TERRIBLE.

Ive used Zone Alarm for years. Its NEVER let a virus get to my computer and has caught dozens. Those that it could not contain were deleted manually but it detected ALL of them. It is a bit of a resource hog when it updates and scans. But they are supposed to do that...its monitoring the WHOLE computer...Think about it. It was recommended by my networking teacher and he said it was the best, i wouldnt buy another one. what i need is two processors..That makes more sense. im running XP on a pentium 3 2.6ghz so it will be sitting pretty on a newer system.. I love Zone Alarm.
