5.0 out of 5 stars Dee Dee is a great songwriter
This is a very good album with many songs that are catchy, fun and rocking! Great stuff, Dee Dee!

3.0 out of 5 stars Better luck tomorrow, so much sorrow.
This album by Dee Dee Ramone was released in 1997. It's sort of a family affair, with Dee Dee on guitar, Barbara Ramone on bass and Marky Ramone on drums (plus producer Daniel Rey on second guitar). Dee Dee sings most of the songs, with Barbara singing three songs and guest vocalists Joey Ramone and Lux Interior singing one song each. It's a decent album, with some...

The reason the Ramones still used Dee Dee as a writer (after his departure in '89) was because he's the God of this style of songwriting. This is evident here. The songs are mostly great and Dee Dee's voice is always complementary to his songwriting style. Great stuff here, folks. Only two complaints: 1) Joey Ramone guests on one song (I am Seeing UFOs) and it's one of the weaker songs on the CD. Not because of Joey's voice but it's just a weak song. 2) Dee Dee's wife sings a few of the songs and while her voice is not bad enough to ruin the songs (she's a real soft, weak singer), it would have been great if Dee Dee sang them. Come to think of it, one of the songs she sings (Get Out of my Room) would have killed if Joey sang on it rather than the one mentioned above. All in all, great CD.

4.0 out of 5 stars No great but pretty good, July 18, 2007

This album doesn't have the pop flavor that most Ramones products have. It's alright though. Dee Dee was a messy guy an dthis ablum is just like him. It has some classics: Fix yourself up, Keep away from my chico (w/ Barbara on vox), I've been seeing UFO's (x/ Joey on vox). Buy and love it. It true about the dead, love their gifts and love their curse otherwise your loving a dream. Dee Dee was a messy guy.

Pretty good Dee Dee Ramone CD. Been looking for it for a while, and now that I have it, I'm glad! A must have for any Ramones collector!

It has some hard to find tunes.
