4.0 out of 5 stars Well done, November 28, 2005
This review is from: Zoo (Audio CD)
This album is a great mix of many genre's: metal, emo, pop-punk, alternative rock, ambient. The songs are all have great melodies, and at times complex time signatures. The only reason I took away a star, was for lyrics that at times came off as very generic (emo/pop-punk). The flow of the album is really good. The highlights are Timid Gentleman, Love Lust and Fake integrity, the continuation track Capitol Arrangement, and Fountain Imperfection (truly a perfect song).

4.0 out of 5 stars different, October 9, 2004
This review is from: Zoo (Audio CD)
This new release is a much more spacier album. Compared to the EP, the vocals are less shrill and harsh, yet it still doesn't lose the intensity. Tracks like love, lust, fake integrity and timid gentleman are more ambient than lyrical. however, if you like dreamy quality of songs, then go for it. to be honest, i enjoyed this lp a lot more than the ep. I haven't stopped listening to it for about a week.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best Albums this year, October 2, 2004
This review is from: Zoo (Audio CD)
This album will blow you away! 10 superb catchy, melodic songs, with great sound, great instruments and a great voice. forget c&c. These guys know how to make (good) music. NO chance of stuffiness. One of my favourite albums of this year so far.

5.0 out of 5 stars very well written album, amazing!, January 23, 2005
This review is from: Zoo (Audio CD)
I heard anadivine awhile ago when i baught their ep, i wasnt too impressed with it, then i heard the new version of alc and oxygen i flipped because the vocals were tight and they had really good harmonies. I baught the cd and wow, some great stuff. My fav songs are:
Alc and oxygen - this song is just great, good lyrics and great harmonies.

yes sir mr machine - this song has a oldschool u2 type of sound to it almost with the heavy use of the high hat. good transition near the end too.

Fountain imperfection - this is the best song on the cd, the most ambient and laid back, it has some trippy drums in it and the lyrics amaze me, very poetic.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the tops of 2004, December 19, 2004
This review is from: Zoo (Audio CD)
This album is so absolutely great because of it's variety. Each and every song is unique in it's lyrics, beat, and melody, but they are all also unique in something deeper. If the songs were mixed up in a random order and played, I probably would think a different band had done most of them.

Of course, this is all terribly ironic because when you listen to the album straight through the songs flow, and you really cant find yourself pushing the stop button.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nicely done, April 19, 2005
This review is from: Zoo (Audio CD)
I can't say that this album is anything historical or groundbreaking, but it feels fresh and it's a great listen. The band switch things up a bit as far as styles go but overall the album flows really well and leaves a good impression.

5.0 out of 5 stars VERY UNDERRATED, March 1, 2006
This review is from: Zoo (Audio CD)
I can't believe how few people know about Anadivine. I'm not really someone who is very "scene" or has a lot of "scene" friends, but I really don't know very many people who know anything about this band. This album is incredibly good and blows most of the albums/bands you know out of the water. Great melodies, VERY catchy drums, and just great talent all around. These guys know how to make the sound they want and they do it all around. I get sick of hearing sloppy sounding music. These guys have just captured this great clean sound and I love it.

BUY THIS ALBUM!!

This band is from a small town in New York called Kingston (which is where I live). I met the guitarist a few years back and when I was in FYE, I bought this cd. It's emo, but I do like it alot. It's probably one of the one post-emo albums I like. My sister's name is in the "thank yous" haha. I recomend it.
