I just played the game and it is so much fun!!! It's interesting to see the different animals and to do all of the things to help. THe illnesses vary greatly from toothache where you do an actual extraction to zapping viruses with lasers. It does get more difficult as you go further and you also can get extra money and things for the zoo. You get new animals for the zoo as you care for the animals. I'm 31 and originally bought the game for my 6 yr old. WE both enjoyed it!!!!

Ordered it for my child who wants to treat animals. EXCELLENT GAME FOR CHILDREN!!! It even holds the interest of adults. I have to stop myself from playing the game on my own and getting all of the new animals. I plan on getting the Animal Doctor as well.

My 6yo was waiting anxiously for this game to arrive. But seems to not like it as much as he was expecting. The animals make stupid repeating movements. Petting is not at all realistic. Treating animals is kinda boring, probably not meant for a 6yo child. He just played once and never asked for it again. I think older kids may like this game. For me, it was a waste of money.

This isn't a game for younger kids as it has complicated tasks and controls. However, it's a very good game for older kids and teens who want to be vets. The animals and scenarios are very realistic without being gorey.It's definatley something new and fresh in a market of animal games where most are just ones for very young kids where you diagnose the animal, treat them in two seconds, and then play with them the rest of the time. This game isn't like that at all. It's all about the surgeries and if you do them successfully and before time runs out while also trying not to stress out the animal too much(since the animals aren't put under anstedic for some odd reason),but having the animals awake does make it more fun and challenging though, so maybe that's why. It's a level game though and you have to beat the various levels by treating the current animal residents at the zoo in order to earn new zoo animals that you can treat. The only problem I had with the game was that I couldn't figure out how to make the syringe stay filled with liquid so I could give the animals a shot because I'd hold the button down on the wii remote and then I'd try to move the remote but it wouldn't let me until I let go of the button and as soon as I let go of the button, all the liquid would drain out of the syringe before I had chance to give the animal a shot, which I why I gave the game 4 stars instead of 5.

This game had the potential to be really fun... but the difficult controls and intensity of the different challenges just made Zoo Hospital kind of terrifying to play. I don't think many kids would enjoy playing this beyond the first 30 minutes.

This game is kind of boring..I thought there would be more of a story line to it instead of just going to each animal by clicking on them and helping them. A child might like it better but as for me its not the best.
