the happy reptiles
we got 2 new lamps for our red slider turtles to bask under. they think they've moved to the tropics they're so happy! i feel better knowing our home won't be going up in flames from the old lamps we had...all in all the lamps have made our home a happier, safer place to live.

Didn't last as long as it supposed to...
I bought that 10 inches clamp for the 250 watts infrared heat ceramic emitter (there were shown as matching). After a year and a half (almost constantly on for my two cats sleeping area) the wire that enters the ceramic head of the clamp lamp burned inside and melted the plastic a bit so there was a short. The lamp clamp stopped working since the wire inside were corroded...

I bought that 10 inches clamp for the 250 watts infrared heat ceramic emitter (there were shown as matching). After a year and a half (almost constantly on for my two cats sleeping area) the wire that enters the ceramic head of the clamp lamp burned inside and melted the plastic a bit so there was a short. The lamp clamp stopped working since the wire inside were corroded with the screws and as a result,no longer connected.
