These little red shrimps are eagerly devoured by my 7 turtles. Its a cheaper alternative to buying krill which can be three times the price... it doesn't cloud the water or leave any residue, but it does smell fishy. (well what do you expect?)Its a perfect compliment to a regular staple food, for my turtles. I'm sure large predatory fish will enjoy these also and they can be broken up for smaller fish.

My red eared Slider turtles practically jump out of the tank when I put the Red Shrimp in there. And when I just feed them their normal diet they seem to just stare at me for a minute before eating. But when I hold up the container with the blue top they go crazy, it's really funny. Great product with a lot of good protein.

Thanks,

Shelton

I'm giving this 4 stars for a few reasons, first the turtle loves them. second you get a big container full (amazon photo makes the jar look small and wide but its taller). And third, they are small in size. Someone posted a photo and they looked big but when I got them they were kinda small. They say large but not really, and i'd hate to see what small would be. They do have a heavy fish smell that you can notice even when the jar cap is on. When I opened the amazon box I caught a strong wiff and ew[...] So although the photos are a little deceiving, they still are good and the jar is completely filled. (i posted photos of what I got)

Always bought this at PetSmart, for $6.50 still best buy out of what other "shrimp" brand my turtles loved them so I payed for them. Then Store stopped stocking this and only the others and I aint paying $8 for 1.8oz thats stupid.

Well got on here been buying from Entirely before.
Love the price, the shrimp are fresh as can be, one my turtles acts like a real turtle she only seems to dig for food in the substrate and then chases LIVE meals of shrimp, worms, or krill. My other 3 male turtles eat off the top of water and in substrate, they love this stuff I have to make sure to drop a piece in different places or they fight for it. They don't seem to tough to chew, smell fine, and no cloudy water NOTHING at all just full turtle bellies. Will buy another bulk buy from them again if they say this cheap.

I have a 10 inch turtle and he loves these. He seems to smell them as soon as I open the jar. It's the only time he comes to me. These are meant to be snacks apparently. I mix these with the pellet food sometimes. I will say that these will cloud the water in your tank. Remove your turtle to a feeding container (a tupperware big enough for your turtle) and save yourself the hassle of smelly water in your regular tank.

I bought one from a local retailer and it smelled like ammonia, so I tossed it. They claimed it was fresh. I bought another from here and I had the same result. Also, they aren't as dry indicating that maybe they're loaded with preservative or something. I have tried many different dried shrimp for my animals, all I liked about this one was the price.

Go with the Tetra river shrimp for freshness, also Omega One makes a good shrimp, which I liked more than their krill.

My Western painted, Kame, will really only eat with great relish, dried shrimp. Buying this product, in this size, assures me that I will have his favorite feed.
The shipping was extremely fast, even up here at the end of the road.
Exceptional service all around!

I changed to this instead of freeze dried shrimp, and my all turtles love it !

I think this is way cheaper than other dried shrimp product.
