Father, writer, publisher (papa comes first!). 20+ years in the publishing industry -- after being a peon at The New Republic magazine and then managing editor of Friends of Wine magazine in the late 80s-early 90s, I went rogue and started independently developing and authoring I.T. and computer programming courseware. Active for a number of years then in the local education and computer user communities, I served as editor-in-chief of both the award-winning CPCUG Monitor monthly magazine and the widely distributed DC-area Computer Digest monthly tabloid.

An early adopter of the "public Internet," I started writing and publishing the popular e-Factory NewsDesk daily ezine, later acquired by Internet startup Intellectua.com in the late-90s, renaming it The Dirtsmart Netpreneur. Intellectua also brought me on as its new CIO. While at Intellectua, I authored the company's .COMstruction: The Basics flagship commercial ebook, and edited and designed its extensive product line of instant download ebooks, including the popular Dream Jobs To Go series of career guides.
