The pedal is pretty straight forward. I use it on a Zoom RT-234 Drum Machine to stop and start playback. It does an excellent job and the price from Amazon was very good.

I ordered this to work with my Zoom RT-223 Rhythmtrack machine. It seems well made and did the job. My only complaint is that the supplied 1\4 inch cable is pretty short. But I think you can use any instrument cable, so I have plenty of those.
