The journey as just as important as the destination,
By John-William (Maryland USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Zorba the Greek (Paperback)
Zorba The Greek is a novel that should be required reading in school, but sadly it is not. It is a wonderful story that explores life and what it means to be alive. It teaces you the perils of impulsive behavior, jealousy, and the joys of innocense and simple living. If you have only seen the movie, reading the book will give you a better sense of the author's intent and goal, that in life, the journey is as important as the destination and sometimes, we need a little madness if we are ever to cut the ropes of our own making and be free.
