A Classic Serial, August 19, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Zorro's Fighting Legion [VHS] (VHS Tape)
"Zorro's Fighting Legion" is great fun and one of the finest serials ever made. The stunt work, in particular, is excellent. Reed Hadley gives a delightful interpretation of Zorro while Don Del Oro ranks among the classic serial villains. Admittedly, it's a bit hokey at times, but still entertaining.

Hilarious! 12 episodes of laughter! =), January 1, 1999

Zorro's Fighting Legion is a must-have video for any Zorro film collector. It's by Republic, and it's done suprising well for such a corny idea. It's filmed well, considering how old it is. There are twelve episodes. It was originally a movie theater serial. The costumed Don Del Oro gives lots of laughs, and Zorro's Legion is hilarious in itself. Smilin' Ramon was my personal favorite. :) Get this one today!

Reed Hadley is no Tyrone Power, May 12, 2001
This review is from: Zorro's Fighting Legion [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Just finished watching this version of Zorro. It's pretty good and Reed Hadley does a commendable job as Don Diego. He has the fopish down real good. But he lacks the macho touch of Zorro. He's no Tyrone Power who was the very best of all the Zorros. Of course you can't forget Guy Williams who also did a great job as the cape crusader. But I tell you, I love watching any movie with Zorro.

One of the best classic serials, December 31, 2004
This review is from: Zorro's Fighting Legion [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This has the touch and feel of the clasic movie serials..much action, suspense, and tongue-in-cheek of the hero that had the girls and the boys liking the good-looking hero. Budget big enough to look sensational and lens in brightly lit scenes that made each frame crisp and easy to follow. Choose any episode, sit back and enjoy!
