My friend gave us 2 bars of the pink Zote when my twins were born almost 6 YEARS ago. I still have 2/3 of one bar left. I'm not kidding. I use it to spot clean clothes. It takes out just about every stain. My kids were spitter-uppers and their clothes and bibs looked great. On a number of occasions it even took out stains on clothes that I had already washed AND dried. I simply wet the stain with water, rub the bar of Zote directly on the stain and into the wash with standard laundry detergent it goes. Naturally, it's always better to treat the stain right away. But grass stains, tomato sauce, wine, chocolate, etc---no problem. Using a bar soap seems very old school, but I swear by it. Say goodbye to Shout, Spray n Wash, etc.

I ordered a case of this to make my homemade laundry soap. Others suggested that I try this one because of the color and mild scent. So far so good. A good replacement for felsnaphta for the color and scent or use half of each. I made a big batch and it turned out just as nice as the other brands. My clothes have come out clean. I will purchase this product again.

Very Good Soap with many uses. I believe that this soap is made in Mexico, so it is very hard to find. I ordered it for a relative that has been looking and searching everywhere. 25 Pack should last a while.

I make my own laundry soap and found this at our local Sav-A-Lot for only 89 cents. I must say it did alot better than I figured it would and I looove to use it in a load of my 8 month olds cloth diapers. It gets her nasty looking stained up diapers white in a hurry and doesnt make my diapers repel like most commercial detergents will cause them to do. I love this soap and will continue to buy them!

The soap smells like Citronella candles. Threw it away before attempting to make laundry soap with it! EW. I regret buying it, but it was worth a shot. Good price and I guess if you can stomach the smell, it might work for you :) Good luck!

this soap works great for catfish bait! you can bait almost 100 hooks off one bar the oil/lard in there is what i think they like but it doesnt make ur hands smell like you know what! when ur baiting the hook and no other fish will still it off the hook once its there only catfish for 89 cents a bar why not try it! i buy it at super 1 groc. store the only thing that happenes if you buy in bulk is it getsa very hard over time

My daughter gave a bar of Zote soap to use on my white clothes to remove stains and I was simply amazed how clean and easy it was using Zote. My grand son plays baseball and we use it take off grass and dirt stains from his uniform. You just have to rub some on and scrub very little to remove any types of stain. We're not able to purchase this product in Hawaii but luckily I found it on Amazon.com. I ordered the product and received it about 10 days later. tThe shipping was quite a bit coming to Hawaii, but worth every cent. I am very pleased with the service.

Nothing fancy, just a great big bar of good-quality work soap for washing laundry, scrubbing floors and other household chores (a good one to use for the edges of sticking drawers, or for screws before driving them for those who do that). Classic clean, soapy, not-perfumy fragrance. Also kind of a nice looking bar, fun to look at and satisfying to handle.

I must say, I LOVE THIS SOAP!! It cleans very good and smells wonderful!! Just received my case of 25 bars and as soon as I picked up the box I could smell the soap. I would highly recommend this product to anyone! 2 THUMBS UP!!
