These polishes are beautiful! Although Mitzi (green) and Lolli (pink) are a pain in the tush to apply, phoebe (blue) applies beautifully. Because they are matte polishes they will naturally chip a lot faster than regular nail polishes-- to fight this, I have been instructed to apply a topcoat between the second to last coat, and the last coat (that way you still achieve the matte finish) unless of course you decide shiny is for you, in which case you can feel free to slap a top coat on there =) lol the blue one is my favorite, but all three are very near and dear to my heart!! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL colors!!!!

iridescent sheer white with blue/pink duochrome. not opaque even in 3 coats. have you seen gasoline puddle in a water with different colors in it? this is what this polish looks like. only the 'water' is a little milky. google swatches of this polish and you will see a couple of pictures people posted. great for french manicure. nice for the office, for brides, goes with everything. when you turn your nail, different colors show up. makes your nails very pretty. has a shiny finish. zoya has opacity chart from 1 to 5 (from sheer-1 to opaque-5) this one is 1 or 2.

It turned out warmer color than I anticipated, on the peachy side. It is staying rather long time, just fading gradually which is not bad. it is sparkling, but not too much.

Color Name: Opal Verified Purchase
I bought this when I couldn't find a different well known effects top coat. Zoya "Opal" is thick, but goes one easily. It is more of a glitter than flakes, so you need a few coats to get a desired effect. I wanted to make my nails look like Australian opals, and this just doesn't work well enough to do that without other colors, resulting in too many coats to dry. It is green, so I have tried it with "Shine of the Times" and although it looks kind of neat after several coats, it's not what I had hoped.

As expected, It works great on some colors, not well on others. The best bases for this color (that I tried) were white, nude-pink, coral, dark maroon-red and of course black. The pink/reds work because green is a complementary color so it stands out. It also looks subtle and a good weird on top of rich yellow gold polish.

I received a new bottle, in good condition in a timely fashion.
