Some good old school electro & then some, June 12, 2007

I had to write this review after seeing the 1 star review by another reviewer. If you like the song Planet Rock because you actually enjoy it and not because you feel you have to like it to be properly hip & cool, then you should like this album. It still carries that 1982 electro vibe. The music on this disc hasn't evolved into modern hip hop beats but you do see some experimentation. Latin-meets-electro & soca-meets-electro efforts are welcome. Of course, I don't mind that connection because I always respected freestyle & the latine influence in disco. Finally, this album probably should get a 4/5 star from me, I just jacked it up one star to offset the 1 star review.
