I love tennis, however, I do not get to plat that often since it is hard to find a free tennis court... I got this to be able to have some tennis like fun at home. The first thing you have to do is not expect to play tennis with this. However, it is still fun and great practice for eye-ball coordination.

First it is in a smallish carrying case that is small enough and light enough to carry easily. It took me about 5 minutes to assemble it; it is just push in the metal pin and push the poles together, it is pretty basic and easy to understand, even without the instructions. The net slid on nicely; I did have to put one side on a small amount and than the other side to get it on all the way.

The tennis rackets that it includes are not full tennis rackets, they are a tad smaller and are more similar to a racquetball racket (except these have a tennis like rounded top). They are surprisingly high quality rackets and are really well made! I figured they would be cheap in a kit like this, but they are top notch, they had a good feel (good weight balance) and were easy in the hand (they did just electrical tape for the handle wrapping, but it works fine for a racket of this size). The rackets are really high quality!!

The balls are foam and feel like heavy Nerf balls. They are solid (unlike a tennis ball), but work well with this game.

I live in the city and finding a place where I can setup this is challenging, I could not find a place had a concrete base that I could use for this (they were all shared with bikes or cars). So I setup in the grass in a park. This surprisingly worked well!

This Zume Games Tenniz Set is good for recreational play. It comes with two lightweight rackets and two orange-sized foam balls that are just bouncy enough.

I'm assuming that in the most common scenario, the net stand would require assembly before and disassembly after each play, so you'll need to have some idea what the processes entail. The net stand consists of two anchor end pieces to which you'll attach vertical and horizontal tubes to. The tubes are lightweight, and the "male" portion of the tubes have a tab that you need to press down on when attempting to link to the "female" portion of another tube; when the tab in one tube meets the hole in the other tube, the tab will "spring up", securing the two tubes together. The included user guide provides a graphic of how the various parts fit together, using the number label stickered on the tubes as visual hints. You don't have to worry about the number labels getting unglued from the tubes in the future, however, because the parts are easy to tell apart, and you'll know which parts should go where.

When fully assembled, the net stand will be about 28 inches tall and 12 feet wide. When I first tried to slip the net into the vertical end-posts, I thought I had received a net that fell short, but it did fit snugly after some gentle pulling / stretching.

You can use this set outdoors or indoors -- as long as there is enough space and a hard surface such as concrete, bare ground (with little to no grass) or tile flooring. According to the user guide, the ideal playing area is 24 feet long, but the court length can be varied according to the available space and skill level of the players .

This is a fun portable tennis like game that is great for kids as well as adults who don’t move as quickly as they did at one time. It is easy to assemble and disassemble.

The balls that come with this are made of foam and are larger than tennis balls. The rackets are light. They have short handles and a big racket face. This makes it easy to hit the balls and the balls are not likely to hurt someone or break anything.

The net is easy to assemble and disassemble. It should be used on a hard surface but can be used in a yard if the grass is cut low. The higher the grass the less the ball is likely to bounce.

While this seems to be marketed to children learning how to play tennis this is also good for older adults or adults who are out of shape or just want to play a game without to much effort. It does take skill to hit the ball and there can be a decent amount of movement depending on the layout of the court.

It would be nice if this came with two more rackets so people can play a doubles game. The balls seem like they may wear out over time. I assume you can buy replacement ones but I have not checked.

This comes with a case to carry everything. It is about 37 inches long, 4 inches high and 10 inches across. It is fairly light so most anyone can carry it.

This is a fun game that can be played by the whole family. I just wish they included another two rackets.

This tennis game is a lot of fun. It includes:
• Net (12 feet long by just under 28” high when assembled)
• 2 rackets
• 2 balls
• Instruction guide
• Carrying case.

Set up is fairly simple. You bring the carrying case over to where you want to play. I’d estimate it weighs about 7 or 8 pound. You need enough space on a flat, hard surface to set up a 12 foot wide net. You can probably set it up in doublewide driveways (as I did) or even use grass. The balls are high density foam so they’ll bounce on grass, although I could see the bounce being diminished and a little more erratic on grass.

After taking the parts out of the case, set up the frame, which is tubular and the rods all fit together (somewhat tightly). You then put the net on the rods, adjust the tension and you are ready to go. The rods all fit together with spring lock buttons (pop up button on one rod, hole on another rod fit together). These look like something you see on a 2 part deck umbrella pole. You have two end pieces which stand on the ground with legs that are perpendicular to the net, and several short rods which fit together to run along the bottom of the net. The net tension is maintained by the length of these rods, and a little Velcro strap on each top end of the net.

All in all, an adult can assemble this without any tools in a matter of a few minutes, and I think a 9 or 10 year old could also.

I set up in my driveway, lengthwise, so that each player had about 10’ on their side, the driveway being about 20 feet wide. This was OK, but a little wider area would be nicer, especially the older the player’s age. The booklet says to allow 24 feet for a “court.
