There's really not much to review but I figured I would counter the other (misguided) review on this item. The charger works just as fine for powering the Zune while in the car. I pretty much leave my Zune in the car and this lets me do that without having to periodically bring it inside for charging. The part that goes into the cigarette lighter is rather large so take that into account if you have any kind of obstructions around your power socket. The only other thing I noticed that surprized me a little was that the Zune display stays on when connected to the charger and playing music. There's nothing really wrong with that but I was just expecting the screen to go dark like it does when it is not connected to power. Oh, I also like the coiled cord which makes things a bit tidier than having a lot of loose cable cluttering up the console area. I recommend this product.

A little pricy for a charger and bulkier than I prefer but it does exactly what it is suppose to do with no problems and thats really all I ask for something liek this.

I was a little wary from other reviews that the charger itself would be too bulky and not fit, but it fits and works fine.

Nothing really much to say other then what was in the title. I had about a 6 hour drive to go on and the charger worked throughout most of the trip. I would recommend this for anyone that has to go on long car trips.

The Zune Car Charger does what is supposed to do. It charges the Zune player just fine. If you use a FM transmitter to play your Zune through your car radio, be prepared for some electrical noise feedback from your engine's charging system. I use Monster Cable's FM Transmitter. Monster iCarPlay Plus Wireless FM Transmitter/Charger for iPod I try to charge it while I'm not listening to the unit. If your engine's not running, or if you have a direct line in to your car's player, you'll be fine.

This worked okay for about 6 months, then when my zune wouldn't charge in the car anymore, I thought the problem was with the zune. I hooked the zune up to my computer and realized it wasn't the zune, it was the car charger. Then, I found if I wiggled it and held it "just so" in the cigarette lighter, it might work, until I hit a bump in the road. And it wasn't the cigarette lighter, because other devices worked just fine. So would I recommend this product - uh, NO.

I bought a ZUNE 30g from a pawn shop......only had the house charger....needed a car charger......found this one....ordered it....got it fast.......now my only issue is that ZUNE rocks....but when the battery is low and i use the car charger the light stays on the ZUNE....hey but the charger is just that.....so i turn down the screen light at night when i am charging it and jamming........life could be worse.......but the charger works perfectly and has worked for months now....good buy!!!!!!!!Rock on ZUNE!

I needed this charger to play 4 songs at a wedding reception. I needed this car charger to have it ready for the couples dance. We had use a different song...very embarrassing.

What a nice product to have. If you have ever had your battery to run out because you forgot to charge the Zune on your computer,you can just charge it while you are rolling.

This product will charge your Zune in your vehicle as described. The catch is that if you attempt to play your Zune while charging, you'll hear a loud hum in the background. As I've tried other chargers and had the same issue, I believe the blame lies with the Zune itself. I also have an Ipod and you can simultaneously charge and play it without the hum. The Zune may be superior to the Ipod in several ways, but this simply isn't one of them. So, buy this product, but unplug the Zune's audio cord while using it, and plan on listening to the radio.
