This is a sharp looking leather case that protects the zune well. You can operate the zune while it is still in the case. The only thing that kept me from giving it five stars is the lack of a slot in the bottom to allow the sync/charging cable to attach without having to remove it from the case. But I guess the designers figure if it is being charged, it is safe and there is no need for the case (though they obviously don't have children, gregarious dogs etc).

However, I would recommend and have bought one for all 3 of my zunes.

The leather case is superb, however, in order to use the item, you must take it out of the case. This is in reference to using while driving & utilizing the Zune Car Pack 2 appliance.
It is much better than having it in the original velvet casing it came in.

This is a good little protector for your Zune 30 GB. I don't like how it leaves the entire left edge exposed when the case is open, but other then that it is a sturdy and well sewn together case. No loose threads or anything like that. Also I don't like the pink stripe on the inside flap. A little too colorful for me. But it is the best for the price (I think I got it for $25) and I personally like how it holds the zune in place well. Also I want to issue a warning for people who are in the SF bay area who ride BART. This case has a strong magnet on the front flap that WILL demagnetize your BART ticket. So putting anything there that is touchy to magnets is a big turn off.

This would be a great product if the pink stripe wasn't there, if the magnet didn't exist (maybe a button?) and the left side wasn't exposed when you open it. But everything else is great.

I picked this up elsewhere for my 80 GB. I couldn't tell the difference between this one and the newer one from the packaging, but given the price drop, I was willing to risk it. The case is OK. It does a good job of protecting the Zune, but there is no way to sync or charge when in the case. Does what it needs to and for $20 less than most options, I can live with the issues.

I'm completely satisfied with my purchase. The case is very sturdy and keeps my Zune well protected.

So I got my case today and at first glance is that it is very pretty. I like the color and the feel. There is a spot for my headphones but it doesn't allow you to charge it while in the case which I knew from the get go and that doesn't bother me. I will agree that it is sticky to get out of the case but my other case was like that when I first got it. The buttons are covered but for me it doesn't really matter it's takes no time for me to open the front and change the songs or turn up the volume. I like the front flap. And the pocket on the inside of the front flap is great. It's gonna be great for this summer when I go for walks, I can keep my money inside for drinks and stuff. Also in the pocket at least in my case there was a coupon for a free song from Zune. Only downside is that there is no hip clip so I will have to have something with pockets when I carry it go for walks or do dishes or chores around the house. All in all I give it a 8 out of ten stars. If they would have the slot for the sync cord and a clip on the back it would be a Ten all around.

I wish I still had my brown Zune because this would match perfectly. I am a girl, so I like the cool pattern inside. The case fits perfectly and holds the Zune snugly. The buttons work just fine through the case. The magnet is strong and it even comes with a free Zune marketplace song. The headphone jack is accessible.

The only thing I'd change about this Zune case is that I wish it had a cut out on the bottom for recharging & sync'ing. Other than that it's perfect! It even smells good!

It is very nice but my I'm having a hard time removing it from the case as it is very snug.
It would be nice if there was an opening at the bottom to plug in the sync wire and the charger.
