It is well organized and quite roomy, though it resembles a shaving kit more than a case for a media player. It has a padded socket for the Zune with an elastic strap to hold it secure. It also has a custom fitted place for the earphone case and the AC adapter. The general use storage has plenty of room for the synch cable, remote, additional earphones and such.

I recommend this item without reservation. It is one of the components in the Zune Travel Pack, and I encourage anyone interested in this item to conisider this excellent selection of accessories for the Zune instead of buying them individually, which can be pricy.

I'm sure my views are heavly tainted by how I use things which is lots of air travel, so take that into account when you consider this review.

I got this gear bag and was a bit dissapointed with the overall bulk. I admit it has plenty of space, but the bag itself is too big to be convienient to carry on planes, or even a car unless you live out of it.

It certainly holds the Zune. It is also molded to hold the upgraded earphone case in a similarly molded space.
The extra 'bulk storage' space is huge. Perhpas too huge. one thing that bugged me is that with my Zune in it's DLO protective case it doesn't fit in the cutout so I have to remove it to get the Zune to fit properly.

Now in all fairness I'm happy that I can store the DLO case, armband and clip in the bulk storage area simply because I have to. But I have a pair of LE Super.Fi earphones. They come with their own case that won't fit in the earphone cutout and therefore takes up most of the bulk storage space. With that in there, the DLO case won't fit in the bulk storage area. So it's eather leave the Zune in the DLO case and not put it in the gear bag, or remove it from the DLO case and have to carry it seperately.

Overall it's a good sturdy case. But it's not big enough to hold all the real accessories you'll use, and it's too big to carry around easily. I think this product could have been made smaller for just the Zune and earphones, OR made big enough to have a handle and put all your Zune gear in it.

It fits my Zune, headphones, and cables well. I like the divider and the pouches. They protect and keeps things in place inside the bag. It's a hard case so there's extra protection if you drop the bag with Zune in it.
I wish though that it has a shoulder strap and the premolded section somewhat bigger to accomodate the Zune in leather casing.
Other than that, it's a pretty good case.

When i ordered the Zune gear bag, i expected it to be small and flimsy. When i got it in the mail, i was amazed at its size and how sturdy it was. My Zune AND accessories are completely safe in the bag. I also got it in the mail pretty quickly, and there were no problems with ordering it or waiting for it to arrive safely. I would definitely recommend this product to my friends.

I purchased this Zune Gear Bag for my 11 yr. old daughter. As we all know, kids now a days get so much toys/electronics and a lot more things that we (parents) give them. The reason I got this for her is so that she can put some of her favorite things all together in one place. She has her DS lite/PSP on the other side, a small digital camera, and her iPod touch in a clear case fits perfectly where the Zune mp3 space is intended. Now when she goes on sleepover, she has all her things in one place. After getting the first one I purchased...I end up getting another one for myself. For me the size of this bag is not big at all. I can put my mp3, digital camera, iPhone, and other things securely in this bag. Of course you can't fit the zune gear bag in a small purse/shoulder bag. If you have your carry on luggage or if you're like me, I carry a bigger purse/bag when I travel... this is absolutely perfect. For the value, convenience and appearance, I highly recommend this item!!

When I ordered the Zune Gear Bag it was listed for only $1.99. I thought for two bucks - what the heck? This bag is unbelievable for only [...]. It has a perfect cut out for the Zune 120 with a support elastic strap to secure it even better. Below the Zune in the bag is a cut out with netting for the Zune earplugs that fit like a glove. Opposite this is another full length netting compartment that will hold portable chargers, cables, other earplugs or anything you can fit in it. Both of these main compartments are seperated by a semi hard leather seperator. I would have easily paid twenty bucks or more if I knew of the quality prior to purchase. I strongly recommend that if you have a Zune of any type - Buy This Bag. Especially if you can get if for the same price as I did.

It's nice to know that whenever you need any of your Zune accessories, they're exactly where they belong,...in your Zune Gear Bag. Instead of digging through your desk drawers or under your car's seats, it's all in one place.

Although it seems to have been made for the 30gb Zune, my 80gb Zune in it's Zune Leather Case fits snugly in the cut out. Here's an inventory of what I regularly keep in my Zune Gear Bag: 80gb Zune in it's Zune Leather Case, Zune Sync Cable, Zune Premium Earbuds, DLO USB PowerBug Wall Charger, DLO USB Auto Charger. I've also been known to put my car keys and wallet in there as well. So as you can see, literally everything in it's place.

Some may say it's bulky, but it is a "gear bag". We musicians know what that means; whatever you need, whenever you need it (and some stuff extras just in case).

All in all I'm very happy with it and recommend it too every Zune owner. If you're like me, you do a lot of shopping around before you commit. I get total usage out of my Zune Gear Bag (and then some). I know you will too...

It's really good for my zune storage (30gb). There is a place and elastic strap for holding your player in place. Also has pockets for things like a charger, earphones. Not much more.
This thing is really sturdy. I could throw it down and I know my zune is protected. Is it a little big? Yes. But I didn't buy it to wear it, I bought it to store my stuff for when I travel and to keep all my stuff together.
Buy it. If you can get it for around $20 it definately is worth it.

Nearly 3 years later and I'm still using it.

I bought my Zune to play in car, and I bought extra accessories (car charger, auxillary cable, headphones, Zune-to-PC cable) so that I could charge the Zune with the car. Thus I needed something to carry my extra equipment for the Zune. I found that this product could hold all of the accessories with room to spare. The hard shell case protect the unit when it might fall into the floorboard or just from everyday wear and tear. This bag has an elestic strap to secure the unit inside the the case, which prevents the unit from falling out when the case is not zipped. The interior divider prevents the accessories and the Zune apart prevent the screen of the unit from becoming scratched or damaged.

I would highly recommend this for people who take their Zune on travel (airplane, road trip, or daily commute), where they need all of the accessories with them. This case would be too large for jogging or other activity, and would not work well if you had to carry it around with you. But for any other applications, where you need all of the extra goodies with the Zune and your not trying to carry this case and other stuff (purse, shopping bags), it works very well.

I wouldn't recommend this case if all you are carrying is the Zune and some earbuds because it is quite large for that purpose. The case is very good for carrying the Zune with a few accessories (such as a charging stand and cords, connecting cords, etc.) It offers a space for the Zune to be held safely and secure, plus additional pockets for accessories.
