I have had some very interesting experiences with Zuni fetishes, to say the least. I decided to do a little research on the history of Zuni fetishes, so I bought all the major titles on the subject. The rest of the books I bought disappointed me, being either too short or too superficial. This particular book by Ruth Kirk was by far the best of the bunch. I wish it had been a little bit longer, but the information it did contain was very interesting and provides some idea of how fetishes used to be used by the Zuni before the modern era.
