He still has a bad habit of soaking his food sometimes, throwing it out of the cage others (like when I'm vacuuming!)

My birds love the fruity taste and smell of the food.

This has been my Blue Fronted Amazon parrots base food for over 13 years and he has always been in perfect health. Although he gets a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, pasta and a taste of virtually everything we eat, this food is always available to him and he eats it every day.
The quality of this food is well known and used by many successful breeders and pet owners. My birds long term health, bright colors and beautiful feathering is proof of just how good it is.

I have always feed my birds another ahemm name brand and they were just ok looking birds with little color. Now that I feed my birds ZUPREEM they seem to have gotten brighter feathers in a few weeks. It did take some of them almost 4 days to accept the change because the other brand was mostly seeds. But I mixed ZUPREEM half and half with their other food and within 4 days left out the other brand. It made them happier too it seems :) they are singing all the time now too.

I have tried all the other pelleted diets and my cockatoo turned her beak up at them, then my daughter told me about Zupreem and it was love at first bite! I mix the fruit blend with the natural diet and it's a hit!

My sun conure "Sammy" loves this stuff. He picks out all the red pieces first and then works his way through the rest. The food has a pleasant fruit-loops cereal like smell, which in turn has given Sammy the same odor. His colors seem brighter and he is very healthy.

My bird loves this stuff, she is healthy. She eats everything but the oranges and grapes, but she'll eat those after she goes through the ones she likes. The red pieces are her favorite.

With that said, she doesn't mix it up. Red is her favorite. When she poops it's red, and if it hits the carpet it leaves a nice stain. Then she moves on to green, which does the same thing, but not as pronounced as the red. I haven't seen the other colors, but I'm sure they would have a similar effect. This would probably not be so bad if she ate all the pieces without bias, but since she goes through them one color at a time, the dyes come out very brightly in her droppings.

While I know she likes this, and she eats it without fuss, I'm going to move her over to a new food, dye free. I wish I had known the extent of this problem when I first got her. I would have started her on something without dyes. I've tried a handful of other foods, but it's hard to switch a bird, that's for sure.

I am feeding this to a Senegal parrot. She took to it immediately, which was nice -- in the past it's sometimes taken a few tedious weeks to move her over to a new food. This stuff smells like Froot Loops, comes in a handful of different vaguely recognizable fruit-inspired shapes, and is brightly colored. Unfortunately, there are a few problems that arise from that last attribute.

First, it gives the bird something to be picky about. I used to feed Premium Daily Diet pellets from Lafeber's, and while it was initially harder to convince her to eat them (to be fair, they look more like those fuel pellets for wood stoves than anything edible), I rarely saw many on the floor. With the FruitBlend pellets, on the other hand, I often come in to find that, e.g., all the purple pieces have been systematically dug out and thrown on the floor. It's not that the bird has any real preference for one color or another; she just seems to pick one at random every now and then.

Second, and more importantly, the dyes used to produce all those colors seem to pass right through the bird's system unaltered. In other words, my bird now s***s in all the colors of the rainbow. Besides being a little startling at first, this has turned out to be somewhat of a practical problem. The coloring is mostly concentrated in the stool itself (the solid portion of the "poop"), but once said stool has been deposited, moisture lets the color diffuse out and wick into whatever item of furniture or clothing the bird has chosen to defile. The end result (if you don't act immediately) is a rather un-subtle spot of color, which can grow fairly large if the bird has had a lot to drink. These seem to come out fairly easily in the washing machine, but for items that can't be laundered (e.g.

My red throat conure just loves this stuff. For those who need a size reference, he's about the same size as a large quaker, or a mitred conure. His favorite is all the pellets shaped liked grapes. But he eventually eats all of the pellets. Sometimes he will pick a different color for each week. It will show in his poops. One week, they will be green. The next, purple. Then red. Yellow. And so on. LOL I'm just glad he eats it, and that it's so obvious that he's eating it!
