it's tough to find baby spoons that aren't made of plastic or don't have a plastic coating. (yeah, like plastic is that much softer. whatever.) and i didn't want to spend too much money on silver spoons. then i found these!!! they're the perfect baby spoons!! maybe they're a little large if you're starting solids really early, but these are sturdy, well-balanced just small enough. and they also double as espresso spoons. a great alternative for those who want to minimize exposure to plastic and various associated chemicals.

These lovely little spoons are of top quality, and a nice weight--not a cheap or "tin" feeling...balance well in the hand. Highly recommend!

Someone at a recent Weight Watchers' meeting suggested using demitasse spoons when eating smaller portions -- to make them not feel so small. I found these spoons and they are perfect! I use them for lo-cal puddings, ice cream, etc. A regular teaspoon goes through a half cup of anything very quickly, but these little spoons force you to eat more slowly and savor your food longer!! Love them!!!

I bought these mainly to serve Fancy Feast to my cats in their Waterford crystal dishes. Just kidding! But no, I did get them to use as espresso spoons but found them to be perfect for just about anything (including dishing out Fancy Feast). I use them everyday and am so glad there are 8 of them so I don't run out between dishwasher loads. They are wonderfully made - sturdy and strong, and scratch resistant, but also very stylish. They're so nice that I'm going to give them as gifts to my espresso loving friends this holiday.

I was very happy with this purchase - the spoons are strong - and have nice heft for something so tiny. They look great and go with my "fancy" espresso cups, as well as my every day ones. (I like tiny cups - they are handy for many purposes beyond espresso - Instead of "super-size me" - please down-size me!) Mary K.

I bought these spoons after reading another review. I was looking for a non-plastic option for feeing my son, but I wasn't interested in paying $5 or $7 for a "keepsake" spoon, I just wanted something functional. These spoons are great, they are easy to hold, the bowl is just the right size for his mouth and the fact that there are 8 mean that I can send some with him to day care, have some at home and still not be washing spoons every second.

We ordered these to go with our new espresso set. But when I read the reviews, I was surprised to see that some mothers were using them for baby. So I used them for our baby, and he absolutely loves it! The spoon dishes out just the right amount of food, so there is less dribbling. It's small and sturdy, so he feels confident when he's handling it. And they look like new after daily hand washing. (We use them so often, I don't like to run them through the dishwasher. We also like that they are the perfect size for our little espresso cups. I'm ordering more for the baby today.

I was in need of small spoons to serve with espresso and fell in love with these. The price was right. They are a quality spoon for the price. I highly recommend them!

In case some potential buyers believe the length of these spoons is 8.8 inches, the spoons actually measure 4.4 inches. I hope Amazon corrects its description.

I actually uttered the words 'these were the best 12 dollars I spent setting up this house' to my husband about these spoons. They are perfect for morning coffee and tea, and still look brand new after several washes. Great quality and a very good product.
