The thin, long blade of this set's knife performs any slicing task. The fork lifts meat onto a platter or cutting surface, then holds it securely while the knife goes to work. Henckels' Gourmet line is a less expensive cutlery line featuring knives without bolsters and handles that are narrower and shallower than those of its premier lines--perfect for people with small hands. While this set is dishwasher-safe, hand washing is recommended.
