I got my Zwilling JA Henckels Vintage 1876 flatware a couple of months ago and waited to review until I'd put them to use through the holidays. Wow! I've gotten nothing but compliments on how nice they look with my table settings. Yes, they're marketed as "vintage"; but, they also have clean, modern lines too. The high polish finish cleans great in my dishwasher. I've had no problems with spotting or rust as some reviewers have reported. Liked these so much I bought more settings and the other serving set as well. Love 'em. Expect them to last me for years. R

This flatware set is elegant, nicely weighted, and an exceptional value for both every day and formal dining at home. I am very pleased with the set and would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, versatile design that works well with a wide range of table setting styles.

I recieved this silverware set about one week ago, I couldnt wait to open up the box, it was well worth the few days wait, the pieces are beautiful, well weighted, and easy to clean. I am very happy with this choice. Some silverware is way to light, or some even a bit to heavy, this product was the Goldilocks "Just Right" Choice.
If I happen to have any problems with it in the future, I will review it again. But so far, quite happy.

This cutlery set is fantastic. It is very understated in the photo. The weight is exceptional and the pattern is subtle with a hint of elegance. It can be used for both formal and everyday dining. Henkels is a brand to be trusted. Don't hesitate if you're thinking of purchasing this set, you won't be disappointed. One more note, this set is 18/10 which is hard to find and what you need to have in stainless steel cutlery. Some brands state 18/0 in their product description, don't be fooled, it is not 18/10. For durability and quality it must say 18/10.

I very rarely write reviews... and have never before actually cared about flatware beyond "okay/not okay." This set, however, changes all that.
The design is classic, simple, and very attractive without being at all ornate. The finish is brilliant. The 'heft' is impressive; you won't get muscular lifting it, but it is extremely solid and well-made. I haven't had the set long enough to test rustproofing, but the 18/10 composition should make that a given.
Aesthetically, there is more to the design than the edges of the handles: There is a minor, attractive taper as viewed from above. Also, for the knives and forks there is a subtle 'S' curve to the handles when viewed from the side.
If I ever need another set of flatware, I will try to locate this design again, they are that good.

This flatware is very nice. The quality is good, the weight is just right. The soup spoons are very large, but I guess that's what you want in a soup spoon. They are just a tad bit too close in size to the serving spoons if you ask me when I'm putting things back in the drawer after washing. (I have to double check to make sure the soup spoons are not the serving spoons.)

I am very pleased with this flatware ! I shopped many places on the internet, and Amazon had the best price. Nice weight, they feel nice in the hand. The style blends well with either casual or elegant dinnerware. I collect flatware, old and new, and I am extremely happy with this purchase!

After several attempts to replace my old stainless flatware only to find that they would stain/rust starting with the first time through the dishwasher, I was delighted to find that this stainless comes out clean with NO spotting/stains. I definitely would recommend this to anyone.

We have purchased Zwilling JA Henckels products before and were never disappointed. This flatware set works great for us. All the flatware pieces are of impeccable quality and design. It is dishwasher safe and has all the items that will be used and are indeed necessary in ones kitchen.

We had looked for flatware for quite awhile before I looked on line. I never thought I could buy it online and be so pleased with what I found. The pics looked good and the price was right. Henkel's was a brand I felt I could trust and the reviews were convincing. I thought my husband would think I was crazy ordering flatware without holding it...feeling it's weight, balance, etc. We were both VERY pleasantly surprised. It is perfect! We've had it now about 6 months and it still looks like new. This pattern does go with all kinds of styles...our antique china and our more contemporary everyday dishes. The serving pieces were a bonus. I would buy this set again if I had it to do over.
