This is a heavyweight, bright and sleek colonial set. The knives are sharp, and make getting a pat of butter balanced on the end very easy. They go perfectly with my Liberty Blue dinnerware and wash up like new. The soup spoons are an ample size too, and the pie forks very pretty. I was kind of worried after reading the other reviews, but was pleasantly surprised by the quality, and received my order within 5 days. I love it!

When I relocated to Tennessee, I decided to redo my kitchen including my dishes and placesettings. I wanted something that was different yet classy. And it was important that the quality be there along with the fashion statement I wanted to make.

To say that I was pleased would be a mild statement. The weight and quality are impressive. And the style looks better "live" than it does in the picture. I would easily recommend these to someone who wants a quality product at a good price point.

I purchased three (3) sets of this flatware (two from Amazon and one from another source) because I thought it was beautiful. I still think so, but what I learned after the first washing is that to maintain its beauty, the flatware must be hand buffed--each piece--which I don't mind doing. I would just suggest that any other purchasers decide whether they would be satisfied with less than the sparkling appearance that only comes from buffing. My wife reminds me that I have been unwilling to subject the ware to the dishwasher...because of something I read in the accompanying literature. Don't know what the finish would look like in that case.
