This block was an upgrade from the 9 slot J.A. Henckels I owned. I bought this since I just bought 8 steak knives with it. The only space I haven't used is the big one. Since they don't make the clevear anymore for twin cuisine line. It looks great and is smaller than what the picture looks like.

almost a year of ownership. great little knife block. after buying mine, i got one each for my parents and granddad. my only gripe is that the knife slots on the right side could be a little wider, they aren't wide enough for anything larger than a utility knife.

Great knife block. Plenty of spaces for knives. I like this much better than a drawer of loose knives.

This knife block was exactly what I was looking for to store my good knives and have them handy when I was ready for them... Perfect.

Bought this to replace the smaller block that my Henckels knife set came with. Great knife block and very solid, takes up a fair amount of space on the counter, but it stores all our knives that we regularly use. The first one that arrived had a huge crack in the wood, but the return process was quick and easy.

Ordered and received product fast and in good condition. (as usual from amazon) Good hard wood material used in the block.
The only problem I can see is that there could be more larger slits to hold more larger chef knifes.

I bought one of these from Amazon several months ago, and love it. Since then, my knife collection has grown considerably, so I bought this one.They both look and work great, and at the price, they are a bargain.Very highly recommend.

excellent. very hard to find item. usually vendors want to sell knives as well. we have our own knives. This even hold kitchen scissors.

Nice knife block at a very good price, but it was poorly packed (heavy block in a big box with a couple little air bags) so the block is all beat up.
