I bought my first pair at Nordstrom's and have loved them ever since. My husband travels and needed a good pair so I took my pair to visit him and then decided we needed more than one and found them on Amazon. We have had some very poor clippers in the past, the get dull and break the nail when you clip, this is a sharp, easy to use pair of nail clippers and well worth the money. The case comes off and I don't use it but when you spend money on your nails these clippers are an awesome investment.

The Henckels fingernail clipper is sharp, requiring little "squeeze" effort and fits well in a man's hand (might be a little large for a woman's hand). It boasts the ability to catch clippings - and DOES. On the negative side, and although the arc of the head does not look to be too curved, it does seem to leave rough spots on the nails.

The clipper cuts your nails like many others. I purchased it for the catching ability, which it doesn't do any better than any other catching type clipper. I spent to much for that ability.

Overall nicely made, but the metal edges are a little bit sharp and uncomfortable. The cutting mechanism itself appears to be rather sharp and clips nails easily but leaves a bit of a ragged edge. Overall, I'm not happy with them and have bought another (more expensive) pair of Seki clippers Seki Edge Stainless Steel Fingernail Clipper that I am very happy with.

Its a little tight to pull apart for emptying at first but I love that it collects the shrapnel.

What ever you do, don't waste your money on this piece of trash. It became inoperable within one day. The clippers separated from the surrounding case within minutes of its first use. I thought I was getting a sophisticated piece of equipment, instead I got pwned.

The clipper is very sharp and cuts easily, and also collects the clipping thoroughly. Some of the other reviewers complained that the clipper left their nails rough, but I did not experience this problem. I would have given 5 stars for improved leverage, though. My left hand is arthritic and pretty weak. But the sharpness alleviated that concern.

I had a broken nail that was really close to ripping the skin so I borrowed this clipper from a friend. Since I only used it once to trim and clip that one broken nail, I thought it was great! I liked the idea that the clipping stay inside that black doohicky and that it was really sharp. I decided to buy one for myself. Unfortunately, I should have tried the clipper more than once. The problem is that the clipper doesn't curve when you clip. A normal or regular clipper allows you to continue around the nail, but this clipper does not, once you clip that's it, it's clipped. You can't make a single clipping, meaning, you can't clip around the nail and keep the nail in one piece, you're constantly chipping away at the nail. My advice would be to just pull it out of the black doohicky that holds the clippings, which makes for an easier clipping. What I like is that it is very sharp.

These nail clippers are great. I like the size because they are easy for me to grip. I also like how they catch the clippings and not just let them fly out and land who knows where. The craftsmanship is what I expected from Henckels. The price might be a little high for just a nail clipper, but they are worth it in my opinion.

I love these clippers. It would never have occurred to me to pay this much money for nail chippers, but I was in a pinch and these were what was available. The clipping catching is nice and works OK, but what I really love is the sharpness and crispness with which these cut. It's like and night and day over cheap clippers. I'm giving one of these to all of my male friends for Christmas.
