We purchased a Henckels Four-Star set about ten (10) years ago and use it daily. Out of the set of six or seven knives, this utility knife is our most frequently used. It is extremely useful in food preparation, holds an edge longer than the other non-serrated knives, and isn't affected by dish-washer abuse.

This is a great product that will last you many years. One caveat: NEVER allow your MOTHER-IN-LAW to borrow it and use it as a screwdriver. It will be ruined - hence my purchase of a second one of these knives.

I love all my Henckel knives, but this one is definitely the most versatile. It's 5" length and super sharp serrated blade make it ideal for vegetables as well as meats and smaller bread loaves. If you're not going to buy an entire set of quality knives, you really should have this one amongst the few you choose.

This is a great, basic serrated knife. Not too big, not too small. Works wonderfully for a variety of kitchen jobs, including hard cheeses, tomatoes, cooked meats.

This is my second one. My first one got "borrowed" -- and I couldn't make it a week without buying the replacement! (The first one was at least 10 years old, and it looked as good and worked as well as the day I bought it...even though my husband kept putting it in the dishwasher instead of washing it by hand. Grrr.)

Labeled as a utility knife, I use this small serrated knife primarily for tomato slicing. About 60% the size of my other tomato knives, it is readily manueverable and always on call especially during the fresh vegetable season. Durable and requiring low maintenance. A real winner.

I have many of the Henckels knives. This one is, by far, my favorite.

We have several top quality knives of different types but this relatively affordable serated knife is our first choice for chopping or slicing any sort of vegetables. My wife especially likes the feel of the handle and overall balance.

I have owned this knife for a long time. It is not the type of knife everyone has in their kitchen. It is so useful for slicing sandwiches and fruit, but the best use for it is slicing tomatoes. It cuts through the skin like slicing warm butter. It has a nice weight in the hand and is of wonderful quality like all the twin pro S Henckels. I am putting together boxes of kitchen items that I love and own to give away as Christmas gifts. This was the first item I thought to place in the box. Amazon had the best price so I purchased several. You cannot go wrong with this knife.

i somehow accidentally threw away my 10-year-old version of this fabulous Four Star knife and was heartbroken, as it was my favorite of my Four Star set...

but i was overjoyed to see that i could easily, but not cheaply, replace it...

worth every penny and use it every day... can't live without it...

Have several of these knives; great utility knife for general purpose use around the kitchen. Stays sharp and lasts for years.

I had one of these for years as part of a set but it got lost somewhere along the line. I put off buying a new one because of the cost but now that I have it back I can honestly say it's worth the money and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one immediately if this one ever goes missing.
