Groenemeyer's second album is great,

For somebody like me, who started with Groenemeyer music by listening to the newer tunes, "ZWO" was very different at first. He has mostly the piano as his accompaniment, which he later changes to more keyboard and electrical music and drum and bass. Nevertheless, he is an outstanding pianoplayer and songwriter, and his lyrics are so close to reality that you might find yourself somewhere on the CD. Of course, he uses quite a bit of sarcasm, which he is known for and which makes his musik even more interesting to listen to. Some of the songs are groovy, while there are also ballads like " Ich hab dich lieb" (I love you) and "Ich bin wieder bereit" (I'm ready again). Even if you don't understand German, this is a CD with great music, with changes of rhythm (e.g. "Commander") and great harmonies. "ZWO" is a great way to get to know Herbert Groenemeyer's very special kind of German pop music.
