For the price, this is a great novelty item. It fits onto a shirt collar with a metal clip in the back. For an attention getting rhythm section, it is the perfect item. Striking to look at and play!

I thought I was getting it from The Columbus Washboard Co. website and made by them. It came in from a different distributor than the acknowledgement said and MADE IN CHINA. AAARGH!

I bought this to wear as a joke to my brothers New Orleans wedding and it was a big hit. Everyone wanted to play my tie. The shipping was right on time and every was what I expected.

This was the perfect gift for a dear friend. We all had lots of fun!

I am always looking for unusual instruments and this is definitly different but I love it (and it is sporty too)

This thing is the definition of dumb fun. Plays well with others, those who'll hang around anyway. Wanna scare away racoons, buy it. Need the ultimate tie for Bad Tie Day at work, this is it. Don't have Bad Tie Day, start one.

Picture Congress wearing these instead of stuffy red, white, or blue ties, it'd be a different country! People would actually watch C-SPAN! Betcha Englands House Of Lords wears them. March in July 4th parades with your co-workers wearing them. Its patriotic!

Great addition for my Laughology Programs.

Easier to carry and hold than my washboard...Could have used this one when I appeared in Smoke on The Mountain, last summer...

My nephew will soon be graduating and becoming a teacher. He already plays several instruments, and now has this one to add to his collection for the classroom. It will definitely entertain his students, and he has just the right personality and flare to be able to pull this off. It is very well made, arrived in plenty of time for Christmas, and we all can't wait to hear him play it!

After reading all those amazing reviews, I bought this tie as a joke gift to my musician son. Maybe I expected more than what it is. I even thought you could get different notes from different areas of the tie, not a chance. As one reviewer mentioned, it could be great to scare off the raccoons, but that's all it is. Not easy to wear on neck, and the sound it makes could be duplicated by a number of kitchen items. I guess it could be interesting to wear it once or twice in corky occasions.

Everyone! Buy the Metal Zydeco Tie! It is a Metal Zydeco Tie! Buy four or five at least!
