Kriss in Las Vegas,

Although the picture shows two drums, the description states that it has stainless steel drums (plural), and that the editorial review states that it is "equiped with both a course and fine grating drum" it only comes with the fine drum. . .the additional drum has to be ordered through Zyliss for ... plus shipping

Not sturdy enough,

This review is from: Zyliss Transparent Cheese Grater (Kitchen)
This is a fabulous grater. I used it constantly, a few times a week, to grate hard cheeses like Romano and Parmigiano, washing it in the dishwasher. However, the plastic handle has broken after less than six months of use. I am going to buy the identical-looking Zyliss grater in non-transparent plastic, also listed on Amazon[.com], because I'm hoping the different type of plastic might be sturdier.

Never scrap your knuckles again.,

I've had several types of cheese graters before this one. They either broke or did not provide the type of grating that I desired. This grater provided both, consistency and ease of comfort. Since hard cheeses are now available at any grocery store, once you have used this grater you will never go back to the green cardboard tube of cheese ever again.

Don't Cut the Cheese - Grate It !,

This is an excellent cheese grater, we've gone through several of them thru the years, and this one is the best. The hand crank is easy and rugged, does not bogg down on the nuts or softer cheeses. Best of all, the drum is removable for hand washing, something that never use to get done, because the whole unit had to be washed and the drum was difficult to reach, yet alone clean. No longer a problem with this unit!It is much cheaper, and better tasting, to have fresh grated cheese with pasta, than that dry stuff in the green cylinder. Grated cheese is now almost a staple at the dinner table!

Bought it, returned it,

This review is from: Zyliss Transparent Cheese Grater (Kitchen)
I bought this as a replacement for an old Mouli grater that was looking its age, but what a disappointment. Because the handle is fixed on one side, the grating plane is not an open cylinder, unlike the Mouli (and the Cuisinpro, which I'm now using) When grating a slightly soft cheese--a sharp cheddar--the drum quickly became clogged with cheese shred and it was almost impossible to clean them out.
