When you first get it, it doesn't appear to leak.
But eventually (after about a few weeks) it does.

The one redeeming quality is that it is wide enough to fit a hand blender in if you need to whip something up.

Other than that, I highly recommend the Blender Bottle as an alternative. It definitely does not leak.

I have found this to be a solid and effective shaker for over a year. It is made of a thick, sturdy plastic that doesn't leach a bad taste into your beverage. It is measured in ounces, up to sixteen ounces.

It contains a pinwheel that you can easily remove that breaks up clumps very, very well. I remove the pinwheel and drink right from the glass, because I do find drinking directly from the spout awkward, the only negative thing about this shaker (and a very minor problem).

It seals nice and tight, but you do have to carefully close it. It contains a light rubber or silicone gasket around the rim to make a good seal.

Highly recommended.

I bought 4 of these because they were inexpensive and their byline "Swiss innovation" reminded me of swiss watches,and that was unfortunate! The wheel thing that fits into the upper part of the container takes lots of patience to install,as does threading the top on-easy to mis-thread it. the measurement markings are too light to read and the top,while it doesn't leak, is miserable to clean.all they needed to do was to add more plastic to the mold to fill up the nooks and crannies that are impossible to get bits of protein drink out of. Not worth the savings.

The cups are great. They DO NOT LEAK! There is a nice little rubber seal on the rim and the cap closes securely.

Not bad but I find it very difficult to screw the lid on without cross-threading it. Sometimes when I think I have finally got it right I'll start shaking it and liquid will fly all over the kitchen. This problem did not occur immediately so maybe the material breaks down over time.

I've had this shaker for some time. I bought it at Whole Foods. I haven't used it in a while and I saw some fancier models when I recently purchased a new protein powder. I am so glad I didn't get caught up in the hype--I didn not buy a new shaker. I put the milk in first and then added the powder. I shook 30 seconds with each hand and was quite pleased with the results--no lumps, no clumps.

Please note--I did not drink out of the cup. I poured it in a glass. I don't know if that would knock this product down a star or two. I know it's much better than not using a special shaker cup.

I bought this shaker back in June (6mos ago) after seeing a co worker use it. I use it a lot (with muscle milk, 2-3x/day). Basically it works great - however it does leak if you overtighten the top (or obviously if its not tight enough). However if the top is screwed on until it stops, works fine. I hand wash mine daily, and run it through the dishwasher 2-3x/week. Overall very pleased.

Pros:
-It's big enough to get a good size shake (or two smaller ones)
-The lid locks in place when you open it up so you can pour with one hand.
-The numbers are easy to read. (8oz, 10oz, etc)
-It really makes a smooth protein shake. No lumps.

Cons:
- It comes with a big and annoying sticker plastered on it. And it is not that type that you can just rip off. If you rip it, it leave multiple pieces. (This really bothers me. I have to pick all pieces off.)
- It sometimes misses the thread when putting on the lid. I find that doing it slowly works often enough though.

I took a flyer on this cause it's only a few bucks, not expecting a whole lot. The thing is awesome. No lumps in the protein shake, easy to use, closes tightly. I'm going to get a couple more now. Totally worth it.

I like this for the most part. It leaks a little when you shake it and a little hard to open and close, but it does the job. I'm pretty easy to please.
