The case does have openings for the speakers and there is no appreciable difference in sound with the case on. I like that you can close the case and still play audios. Audio plugs can be attached easily.
Great questions. There are hard plastic speaker vents that allow the great speaker sound to emit. All the plugs and ports have easy access while the book is closed. There are special tabs that shut off and access volume easily. You get what you pay for. This is not a cheap cover but it is the best cover.
The sound is no problem - I have not experienced any problems - the speakers are not covered up with the case. As far as the audio cable it installs right next to the charger cable. I think it is a great protector - easy to install the
I think this case provides great protection for the Kindle. The speakers are not covered up and the sound is great. As far as the audio case, it plugs in right next to the power cable - there is an opening on the cover. Hope this helps as I think this is a great case.
Hiya. Well my wife liked that case so much she took it from me (guilt trip and all that). The speaker jack hole is accessible while in the case, and otherwise, we can hear the speakers well enough - there are two vent-style openings in the case where the speakers are. I don't use this type of cover for mine (since my wife took it and gave me hers) my cover is more standard (4 rubber bands on the corners) and I don't think there's a difference.
