This is a wonderful story! I bought it for my daughter AND my best friend and they have enjoyed it equally! My 2 1/2 year old insists on having it read every night before bed. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a children's book!

This is a charming story. The characters are precious and the illustrations are fabulous. It is cleverly written, and the fact that it can be read in Spanish and French makes it even more unique. T-M is an excellent author and his version of this classic tale is sure to be a family favorite. I definitely recommend this book!

In any language this book is adorable and not only offers a mini-glimpse of the French Quarter, but also a unique opportunity for exploring not one, but two other languages; sure to become a family favorite. I ordered one for my granddaughter, who happens to live on the bayou, and look forward to her learning to read it herself to her brother and sister; eventually in all three languages.

Gave this book to my grandaughter Gabi for her recent birthday...she loves it...the characters are so cute and the illustrations are adorable...but the story is what makes this a charming addition to any child's book collection... the New Orleans background is great...highly recommended..rate it at "10' on the rating scale.. great as a Christmas gift...Thanks T-M...keep 'em "coming .. If you are from New Orleans or Louisiana for that matter, this book is a must. If you not and ever visited, you will love this version of the classic tale. You will feel like you are back in the city. Truly wonderful that it is in 3 languages that made the city of New Orleans what it is today. Todd-Michael St. Pierre is truly a gifted and talented writer and the artists that illistrated the book are just as talented. This book a wonderful story about 2 mice that live in Louisiana and through an adventure they realize the unique cultural differences that are in the state of Louisiana. The story is presented in 3 different languages. So many people do not realize the differences between Creole and Cajun. This book with its words and illustrations show the rich and unique culture that surrounds Louisiana.
