It's not easy to find a good replacement for the original AC adapter for Power Mac G4 PowerBooks. This one works like a charm, it's well built, and the price is right. A much better choice than buying the adapter Apple sells, sorry to say. Thank you once again, Amazon!

I have a Powerbook G4 and I needed a new powercord. This one fits perfectly into the power socket and the cord is nice and long. It is a fraction of the cost of a genuine Apple replacement cord, and it works just as well (if not better).

DO NOT BUY THE HQRP power cord for Powerbooks. It does not fit in the socket properly and it is a waste of money.

Product worked great and was very pleased. Unfortunately, the adapter stopped working after only about four months. Bought it in mid March. Stopped working early July.

I took a gamble with the different reviews for this product and sadly I got one of the duds. The charger lights up but it doesn't charge the battery at all. I was very disappointed and now I'm not even sure I can return for a refund because Amazon appears to require a printer to print out a shipping label. Very upsetting for someone on a budget.

I bought this as a replacement for the Apple charger - foolish me! This is a piece of garbage. If you buy it you get what you paid for. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone for any reason. It heats up; it disconnects itself and it's cheaply made. Avoid this item...it's worthless.

I received it fairly quickly, but the problem was that it didn't charge when I plugged it in. The green LED light was on, but my laptop wouldn't boot (it had been left uncharged for several months). I thought it was my laptop that wasn't working so I took it to the apple store, and as soon as they plugged in one of their chargers, voila!, it worked. So it was just that the charger wouldn't do the one thing I needed it to do: power my laptop. Charger fail.

what turned out as a great deal turned out bad. I give this product zero stars, after two weeks it completely stopped working. not worth the time or effort to return, just another life lesson

I ordered two of these chargers after reading many positive reviews. They were shipped out promptly with good tracking. When I received them, however, one would not connect (two part chargers and the two parts did not fit) and neither would power up the laptops. They would light up showing power was reaching the adapter but would not charge either laptop. From the Amazon email response it sounds as though my chargers were fulfilled by "Genuine Adapter". If you purchase this item you may get chargers that functions, or not. I'm sending them back and am not out any money but have lost valuable time. What a pain. I will not be ordering this charger again.

I got this as a replacement cord for my PowerBook. It was MUCH cheaper than buying a new one from the Mac store, and it works perfectly!

I recieved my purchase in a timely manner and it works great. I havent had any problems with it, I am very pleased and you cant beat the great price..
