Keeps Babies Safe and Warm Through the Night

The aden + anais classic sleeping bag design was based on the American Academy of Pediatrics recommendation of removing loose blankets from the crib to reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Unlike traditional blankets, aden + anais sleeping bags fit comfortably over your child's sleepwear and cannot be kicked off. This means your child stays safe, warm, and comfortable all night.

Roomy Bag with Bottom Zipper for Diaper Access

Caregivers accustomed to swaddling babies will find this muslin sleeping bag the logical next step, while babies will find it comforting and familiar. The generously-sized sack design allows ample leg room for kicking, while its bottom zipper makes nighttime diaper changes easy. The sleeveless top of the sleeping bag lets your baby have free arm movement and soft strip of muslin covering the zipper protects your baby's face.

Lightweight Muslin Prevents Overheating

Ideal for year-round use, the single-layer of cotton muslin these sleeping bags are made of helps regulate body temperature and keeps baby comfortable. The open weave allows maximum breathability, while helping reduce the risk of overheating. And because muslin softens in the wash, aden + anais sleeping bags only grow cozier over time.

Various Sizes and Prints

Availble in small, medium, and large sizes, there's a sleeping bag size that will be a great fit for your baby. And with a wide-range of prints, you can coordinate with other aden + anais products and find one that suits your style.

This sleep sack is perfect for naps, summer nights, and nights when baby has fever in the winter... It is a light weight material and it is true to size.

Love Aden + anais blankets but there is something wrong with the design of this sleep sack.

We ordered this for our 17 month old who slept in a fleece sleep sack all during the cooler months. We ordered this Aden + Anais slumber bag as a warm weather alternative since he loved being swaddled in the Aden + Anais blankets when he was much younger. Imagine our disappointment when both shoulder seams and the zipper separated on only the second night we used it. Within the week, we requested a refund, but we were never approved. It's cute, but for us, it was $32 down the toilet. I expected better quality from Aden + Anais and will certainly think twice before ordering any of their products again. Blankets, good. Sleep sacks, horrible.

Okay - I'll admit it. Sometimes I purchase baby stuff because it looks cute, not because it is functional. I love the fabric and softness of the aden + anais line. If you have never used a sleep sack or are using a sleep sack on a small baby, this will work fine. But once our kid got big enough to be squirmy and to figure out the zipper, it is worthless. The main issue lies in the zipper - you have to thread the zipper together at the top of the sack, right under your squirmy baby's chin. If you are putting your baby to sleep in the dark - good luck. Also, the zipper then zips to the bottom of the sack with no closure or tab to hide it. This is perfect if you want your baby to have something to play with in the crib. Our baby unzips it and gets her feet stuck in the opening. We actually think it is too dangerous for her to use anymore. I'd suggest the Summer Infant sleep sack - the fabrics aren't as cute. However, the design is fabulous! It has 2 zippers - no threading or hooking them together. You just put the baby in the sack and pull the top one up, where it gets covered by fabric making it difficult for your little Houdini to unzip and wiggle out. If you need a midnight diaper change, you just pull up the bottom zipper for easy access. If we had never tried the summer Infant, we would probably have been annoyed at the aden+anais but wouldn't have known of a better solution. Sorry aden+anais! You are cute but too unpractical!

I had been looking for a light weight sleep sac -which this one is, but the quality is no good. My daughter ripped a hole in the seam within a week of use. When I went into her room in the morning the sleep sac was all twisted up around her and her arm was stuck in the hole.

great, light weight sleepsack. However, like other reviewers stated, the quality is shoddy. The sack has rips and tears all over, not only the seams. We only used it for one summer and it is already done. Not worth the cost.

I bought this sleepsack for the hot summer months in the hope that it would be as high quality as other aden+anais products I've used. The fabric quality is so poor that it is now left for textile recycling after 3 uses.

I have the blankets from this company and another sleep sack that has more layers and like those products. I was very disappointed with this purchase, as after only the second wash using the delicate cycle, there are two huge frayed holes in this sleep sack. I should have listened to the the other reviewers who had this problem and could have saved myself the money. I would not recommend this to anyone as, even with very careful washing, the fabric fell apart.

I really, really want to love these sleeping backs. They are soft, super cute, and very popular. However, the zipper issue is a BIG problem. After two washings and only a handful of wears (within one month of purchase), the zipper fell off this sleep sack. Huge safety problem given that it is intended to be used on babies. I have had many Aden + Anais products and I generally love their fabrics-- super soft and lovely. But the zippers on their sleep sacks are a safety concern. If you order this, check the zipper before and after EVERY use to make sure it is on safely and won't present a choking hazard for your child.

I am very disappointed with this product and returned it after one week of use; I love the aden & anais swaddle blankets but this sleepsack is made with another, cheaper muslin. It doesn't stretch well and is too thin. After one day of use, fabric at the seams began to stretch and look worn; after only one week, there was a hole under one arm and a foot-long tear along the zipper! (And this is with an average-size 6 mo. old.) I had hoped that this would be a lightweight sleepsack option for warm weather, but it is too flimsy. Secondly, the zipper is cheap and I found it hard to fasten. It zips from the top down (but only goes 3/4 of the way down the sack) and I found myself fumbling to get it hooked, while I tried to restrain my baby from grabbing at it. I didn't have this problem with my previous microfleece sleepsack (another brand). Thirdly, the sizing seems off - my child is 17 lbs but the medium was huge at the armholes and neckline. Don't waste your money on this sleeping bag!
