Great for the money!!, November 16, 2011
Love these boots! They offer decent protection [great sole & heel protection, not so much on the top of the foot, though] for a modern boot, and this from a very aggressive tackling defender. Striking area is large and the foot is protected from the laces well due to the side-stitching. The over-all fit is great; snug and true to size, although they do tend to stretch a little bit if I wear an extra pair of socks, like on a day with a wet pitch. Traction is very good, and I haven't twisted an ankle or anything like that [knock on wood], and the overall support is very good. They are starting to show some signs of wear/fading on the toe/striking area after about 6 months of 2-3 uses per week, for about 2 hours per use [includes indoor & outdoor use]. So I'm glad I'm not using them daily, or I'd probably already have a new pair of boots. But for the casual player, I think they're pretty great for the price!! And they have a great style, I'm a Blackburn Rovers fan, and these match the kit well!!! COYB!!
