Nice and cheap soccer cleats..., November 15, 2009
This review is from: adidas Men's Absolado PS TRX Firm Ground Soccer Cleat (Apparel)
I bought these shoes mainly to use for football and it gives good grip. I've never owned cleats or soccer shoes before and these definitely made a difference compared to regualar gym shoes. I ended up buying two of these to get the free super savings shipping and the cost came to about $46 shipped. I just saw these sames shoes at a local Sports Authority and they had it for about $44 so I pretty much got two of these for the price of one! My only complaint is the lack of padding inside the shoes but thats probably because they are soccer shoes and not football shoes.. I would definitely recommend these shoes..

Great shoe, November 5, 2009
We bought this shoe for our high school son and he loves them. They look great and perform great. We didn't want a shoe that cost alot because he will be outgrowing them soon. He is getting a lot of good use out of them.

SUPERB PAIR OF SOCCER CLEATS FOR $55..!!, March 2, 2011
This review is from: adidas Men's Absolado PS TRX Firm Ground Soccer Cleat (Apparel)
I bought these cleats only to play Soccer, but they are so good that I now wear them to play Rugby and for my running, sprinting & fitness drills (in the park, of course!).. These cleats are made for Soccer, but they are still very good if you play as a "Back" in Rugby (not for a Forward though) or for running or sprinting on grass or firm ground.
The design is excellent for ball control, kicking and sharp twists and turns while running. You hardly feel them on your feet because they are so light. I haven't had problems with blisters or corns as the shoe molds itself to your foot (but I also wear two pairs of socks just in case). These are meant for playing on a "firm ground", but I have worn them when the ground was soft after a few days of rain and they performed relatively well giving me a decent grip. Although I only fell over a couple of times during one hour of play, I would advise someone to get "soft ground" cleats to ensure better performance if you are playing on a wet day.
As far as playing on a hard to firm surface, I have no hesitation in recommending this pair of Soccer cleats. I'm positive that it would be very hard to find a better pair of cleats for under $55 anywhere else. Superb cleats for an unbeatable price!!
