Adidas AdiZero Belligerence Running Shoe Disappointment, October 10, 2010
I ordered the Adidas Men's AdiZero Belligerence Running Red/Cobalt/Yellow shoe in my regular size of 9.5, which was indicated as being available at the time of my purchase. I received two boxes, one 8.5 and one 9, neither of which, of course, fit. I felt like one of Cinderella's step-sisters trying to force my foot into the larger of the two sets of shoes. It just wasn't going to happen!
When I checked my bank account, I'd been billed twice, once for each set of shoes sent to me even though I'd only ordered one and neither of the ones I received were in the size I'd ordered. I called to protest and ask that my account be credited as it was near the end of the month and my bank balance was low, but was told that "that's not the way we do business." Subsequently, I was hit with several overdrafts for which my bank charged me $35.00 apiece and of course no one would listen to my protests. I ended up repackaging the shoes, returning them, and will be much more cautious and selective in making purchases over the web in the future.
