I bought these on a whim because my current athletic shoes were hurting my foot. I LOVE these shoes! I was prepared for some blisters since they were new but I didn't get any! I am a size 10 and they fit true to size, I also have a somewhat skinny foot. I now wear these every time I work out and they are great. Note: do not walk on mushy wet grass b/c they are aerated on the bottom so your foot will get wet!

I got these in the size that I typically wear. They were very big, especially in the toe area. They must run large, so keep that in mind if ordering, go 1/2 or 1 size smaller. i also did not find them to be that comfortable; could use more cushioning.

These shoes look great, fit well, and are lightweight. Comfy for cruising around the house, shopping, or easy walks. For me, they don't have enough support, cushioning, or a solid enough sole for running. I tried walking in them at the beach, and damp sand made it through the sole and got my socks wet. If you shine a flashlight into the shoe, you'll see light coming through the thin, honeycomb-like sole. Nice as closed-toed sandals or water shoes, though! :)

I have a hard time finding athletic shoes that fit due to having high arches, wide feet, and narrow heels. So I was very excited to find that the Adidas Clima Aerate shoes fit like gloves on my feet, providing comfortable support without being loose or too tight at any point. I got the purple/gray color and find them very attractive as well. Five stars!

I am wearing just for fitness, It's not adequate for running or hight impact. I suffered a pain in in my back side (hip) after wearing them, it was very dissapointed in my case.

I have found these to be as comfortable to the Reebok Real Flex (not sure what model but they were high end for Reebok) running shoes that I have. The fit is roomy in the toe box (as minimalist running shoes should be) and allow my foot to form its natural shapes throughout my entire gait.

The arch isn't very high and that is a sign of a good design in running shoes. Arches are formed from strong foot muscles holding the tendons, ligaments and bones in place to form the arch. Healthy arches come in all heights and minimalist shoes with no "arch support" are the best shoes to buy as this lets your foot perform naturally. The concept of holding the arch up by artificial means is antiquated and opposite of the minimalist idea. Minimalist shoes hold the concept the human foot is designed correctly and needs no artificial mechanics.

If getting minimalist shoes for running I would recommend getting the higher end shoes of the Reebok and Adidas market. I use Reebok, Adidas and other brand minimalist shoes that are low end for casual wear and there is no way that those "cheap" shoes would be comfortable or probably healthy to run in.

I was surprised at the comfort and quality of design in these shoes because of the surprisingly low cost of the shoe.

However I have found that Avia makes really decent minimalist shoes (but they fall apart at the stitching and glued seams fast) that are great for running and perfect for running in conditions that are harmful to shoes (road salt, mud, gravel) because of the low cost.

These shoes fit well and are very lightweight. As mentioned in some of the comments, they don't have the thick sole and firm/bulky ankle support that you find in other running shoes. These lean toward the "barefoot" running movement style of shoe (E.g the five-finger shoes) and I like them for that reason. They provide a nice sole to protect from rocks and debris, but are flexible and lightweight. They took a little getting used to, my feet had to adjust to less support, but in theory this makes them stronger. I've had them a year now and am looking to order a new replacement pair.
