I purchased this bag for my daughter as an everyday practice bag - different from the bag issued by her team (better actually!) This bag goes with her to practice and to her pick-up games with other teams and her coaching clinics so is being used 4-5 times per week.

Living in the Pacific Northwest, where rain is a factor in Fall and Spring and soccer games are NEVER cancelled, we wanted a bag that would hold wet shoes and a wet ball separate from items we wanted to keep dry - which is why I went with the Copa. Several other girls on her team had similar Adidias bags with an external ball net which was a high selling point to me.

I did not notice that this bag was a messenger style/sling bag when I ordered it - I thought it was more of a traditional backpack, but the sling style has proven very useful - easy on , easy off - and all the other players on her team now want one of these bags - they do look "cool" when they wear it!

There is ample room for cleats and shin guards in the 2 right & left mesh vented side pockets - and the outer mesh pocket will hold at least a size 5 ball. Inner pocket area is large with room for her Sparx cones, warm ups, extra jerseys, pennies, keys(kept in a smaller hidden inner pocket), snacks, etc. On the handle/sling are two pockets for cell phone or mp3 player and another for smaller items (we keep first aid/band aids there)

The bag material and zippers are extremely tough and as long as the zippers dont break, this bag should last her for many years of all year every day use.

If there was one draw back to the bag it is that it is a bit large - great for Jr. high/high school/college size players - but as my daughter is only U-12/elementary age - even with the sling tightened all the way down the bag appears very large on her and a bit cumbersome. She doesnt mind though - she loves it - and I know she will grow into it. But I wouldnt recommend it for any one younger or smaller - unless the parents dont mind ending up carrying the bag for their future soccer star.

When this bag is worn out - we will buy another one of them!

This is a nice bag. Lots of compartments to stay organized. A little bigger than I would have preferred. Definitely for older kids. Bought this for my 3 year old for soccer. BIG mistake. The bag is bigger than she is! Oh well! It's a nice bag for an older, bigger kid.

After having owned many bags in my years of playing it came time to purchase a bag for my daughter and I looked around at what was available. The "sling" design is becoming more popular not just in soccer bags but in all sorts of bags (photography, laptops etc.) and the design works very well here. Traditional bags had a single shoulder strap and backpacks have two straps but the sling has single strap that goes across the body. As such it is very easy to get on and off especially once you get to the field and are ready to go. The other parts of the bag like the separate compartments for boots, spares and a dry compartment for a change of clothes are outstanding. There is a single mesh pocket that extends from the bag at the very back and holds a size 5 soccer ball no problem. It carries everything a player could need in a space efficient form. The construction of the pack is absolutely top notch and the materials are better than the others I have seen at this price point. Most of the pack is a ballistic nylon with a few softer areas around the strap for comfort. The strap on the top is sewn through the pack so it is very sturdy. As long as the pack isn't lost it will last for years, we had the strap area monogrammed so it is easy to find. Honestly this is probably the last pack will you purchase, I highly recommend it.

My daughter is an avid soccer player- and loves this bag. Looks good and has a nice spot for the soccer ball. It's a one shouldered bag- has a nice padded, adjustable strap. Good sturdy construction.

This bag has room for the ball, cleats, shin guards, keeper gloves, snacks, extra socks, crocks/flip flops, etc. It has an internal mesh pouch to hold items like a cell phone (or my-son's allergy medication). There is an internal divider that makes embroidery around the Adidas logo impossible. We had to have his name stitched on the side (no big deal). The one strap model is distinct from his teammates 2 strap model -- adidas Copa Edge Backpack. They can tell immediately if they have the wrong bag. That's a big plus in my book -- we already have one player who lost a uniform because someone grabbed his bag by mistake.

Great bag with plenty of room + some for all the soccer gear. The sling design is easy for quick on and off.

I ordered this bag for my younger sons who wanted a sling backpack, but I failed to pay attention to the dimensions of the bag. I read one review that said it was a good bag for younger kids and that was good enough for me. I should have done some more looking because this bag is HUGE. I suspect it's designed more for an athletics bag. It could be used for a school bag for a big kid, but NOT an elementary age student. It hangs way too low and is just too big. But otherwise, it is a really great bag, with great storage compartments and seems to be really well-made.

this bag is great for my 10 yr old - not too big like some bags, and it has the mesh ball holder that she likes and lots of room for all her stuff...would definitely recommend this bag!!!

This is a great bag to use for the gym. I go right after I get off work, so I need to carry my lunch and everything else that I typically need during my work day, plus my work out clothes. It is big enough to do all that! The shoe compartments are more than big enough to hold my size 12 men's shoes. And the mesh pocket on the outside that is supposed to hold the soccer ball is a good place to hold anything that you need to put in quickly. Great bag!

We bought this for my daughter's soccer games. it's a handy little bag with lots of compartments and holds a lot of stuff. Well worth the money as it seems like it will last quite a while.
