This is the 3rd model of the Kanadia Tr; I own(ed) the two previous model. They are good for running in any kind of terrain, this pair is significantly heavier than the first model, they are not as slippery as the two first on wet surface. Unlike the second model the top mesh is thicker and thus retain more humidity and smell. Usually, I run with this kind of shoes for a total of 3 months and have to replace them. Adidas size is a little off so make sure you order one size above your normal number.

This is my third pair of Kanadia tr shoes. I wear a size of 11.5 to 12. I mostly buy Adidas shoes and 99% of them have been 11.5. The kanadia trail shoes I have to go with size 12. They are a lttle narrow for my feet however they seem to stretch out just fine. I've been told I have Fred Flinstone feet. I do recommend these shoes. I use them in everyday wear and backpacking. They are light weight and keep my feet cool in summer. Hope this helps.

These are the best pair of running shoes I have owed. I don't run (Medical issues) but I walk allot inside/outside including snow and ice for work and these things are comfortable and provide great grip. I have been wearing them for 4 months now and the grip is still good and the fit and finish of the shoe is almost like the day I bought them with the exception of one small section of the rubber that covers the toe partially came off. I cut it back to where the glue was holding it and haven't had a problem since.

If these things ever wear out I will buy another pair. So far they have held up better then allot of other shoes i've owned.

I bought these shoes to run the Mt.Camelback and I wear them for 4 runs before return. It is good shoes for people who weights below 150lb and high up to 5'10" and who is not aggressive in mountain trails run. The shoes are very soft to give you comfortable feeling if you run even or almost even surface, but if you jump on rocks a lot and do twists on your feet to hold a landing balance or continue to run in new direction - this shoe will not hold you firmly to absorb your body movement. It is just too soft for aggressive runners. Beginners will benefit from the shoe design - it holds you body firmly and comfortable if you don't have speed. It is good mountain walk show.

I am currently in Afghanistan and my shoes prior to these just weren't holding up to running in the dirt and rocks. I figured it was time to switch brands and try something new so I went with these because they have a pretty narley looking sole on them. These shoes did not dissapoint, I will be buying another pair for sure. The sole is actually pretty thick, which I like when running on rocky terrain. They are pretty light as well, plus the firwer feeling on my feet has given me a bit more stability for uneven terrain.

This could be the "perfect" shoe for me. Bought them to run on a mountain trail, mostly muddy and leaves/roots... I was surprised of how comfortable those are... I wear them now as my primary leisure shoe, because they look fantastic and I keep running on my older trail shoes :-)

These shoes, in my very honest opinion, deserve a solid 10 Stars out of Amazon's 5 Star maximum rating...I say this because until I got these shoes, I would buy a Brand-New pair of Reebock's, Nike's, Adidas', or whatever other brand or kind of Running Shoe out there, and my point is that I would buy these New Running Shoes, only to find that, after only 1 MONTH of wearing them, the shoes would have to be replaced.

Until I saw the Adidas Kanadia TR3, that is...

I got these shoes for the looks, but mainly for the great grip that the soles provide. As I walked out of the store that I bought these in, the soles were making sounds like they were covered in suction cups, and as if those "Suction cups" were sticking to glass...

Of course, they are NOT covered in suction cups, and I WASN'T walking on glass, but the grip on these shoes made it feel like I could walk up a glass building!!

Anyways, so now it has been 3 MONTHS!!!! Not 1 month, but 3!! That officially makes the Adidas Kanadia TR3 the longest-lasting shoe, for me.

Therefore, in my honest opinion, these shoes deserve TWICE Amazon's maximum rating of 5 Stars. Simply put, these shoes get 10 *'s out of 5.

Lot of traction. It's almost like a knobby tire. Order 1/2 size larger than normal and you'll be happy.

I bought these shoes specifically for running in the mud. Every year I run a couple different mud races, like the Warrior Dash or Mud Chasers, and every year I find myself struggling to maintain my footing going up and down muddy hills. I looked at these online and figured I would give them a shot. The Kanagia TR 3 running shoes were like 4 wheel drive for my feet, I never lost traction once. I ran through gravel, streams, and mud with no difficulties. When I finished the race the shoes looked destroyed. I got home and washed them off with the hose. To my surprise they were good as new...love these shoes.

They also required no break in period, I put them on out of the box for a 3 mile run and they felt like heaven on my feet. This is an excellent trail running shoe, especially if you are doing some serious mud trails.

These shoes are very well built and have great boot style tread with all the flexibility of a gym shoe. I use these shoes for mountain biking and hiking as well as some everyday stuff. They are solid. They also dry very quickly which is nice when cleaning them. The sizes are a bit off. If you wear whatever in normal sizes, bump the size up one for these. These shoes are also a little narrow but not enough to cause any discomfort. Overall for the price, I say these shoes are good deal.
