Good quality, a few cons, September 9, 2010
This review is from: adidas Men's Adistar Ride 2 Running Shoe (Apparel)
I have always liked Adidas running shoes. In my opinion the quality is outstanding and Europeans, specially Germans, like to build things to last, opposed to America's disposable culture.
I have been using this shoes for a month so far, in trainings from 3 to 10 miles. In fact I didn't want to write a review until I had used them for a few weeks.
As usual quality is first class, I can see these shoes will last. The cushion is great, my knees and sheens don't complain after my trainings. Weight is so-so but I think it is acceptable for the amount of cushion they provide.
On the not so great side, the sole is somewhat stiff, I would prefer something with more flexibility. Also, below the insole, in the arch portion, there is a thick seam that can be sometimes felt.
Overall, I am happy with my purchase, plan to use them for some six months but don't think I will buy this shoe again. For the money I paid, I am sure I can get something without the drawbacks.

Ride 2 = Ride Supreme, September 6, 2010
I like the shoe a lot. I only do short distances 3-6 miles but it helped me run faster the first time out. I bought them to help alleviate the discomfort of some bursitis and IBT. Very comfortable and supportive. I got the best price I could find also on Amazon. Listed $129 at Dick's. Sold for $99 at Adidas outlet. I got them for $85 including shipping.
