These are the best tennis shoes I ever had. Before purchasing them I was having pain on my knees. that's over now; I feel great while playing in the tennis court.

Barricade II's have been one of the best selling tennis shoes because they are the BEST. Their popularity is evidenced by the fact that every year, Adidas comes out with a new version of the Barricade shoe (I think they're on VI now), but they keeping making and selling Barricade II's. They don't even cost much less despite how old of a model they are. I've owned at least 3 different pairs of them now, and the only reason I'll ever buy anything else is if I just get a really good deal. This shoe has everything a serious tennis player could want: comfort, support, durability, and in my opinion they look good. I guess everyone's got different feet, but if you're just trying to find a good benchmark tennis shoe, this is it. I even wear mine to play basketball because they are so much more comfortable and lighter than basketball shoes typically are.

This is a great tennis shoe, it will fit very well, sizes are right (do not run larger) besides the look is awesome, actually i do not like the new barricade due the design and it is synthetic leather, this one is made of leather and that makes it more comfortable, do not think twice, both (the new model and this one) offer the same characteristics , but this model in a better look and material quality.

I got this one after trying 2-3 diff brands but nothing in stands in front of this ..the look and feel is just amazing ..fits perfectly and is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever bought.

my son is pleased with these shoes are great, they are pretty, light and arrived in good condition and on time, just pack them in boxes should not occupy much space and weight for all the rest are excellent.

Loved the look and feel of this shoe upon initial trying but after the first real wear and game, I came away very disappointed. I wear a 9 and had been using Nike (regular width) tennis shoes in the past before this switch.

After this first game, my right toe ended up jammed too hard or too many times inside the toe box and came out blue. I then tried slightly thicker socks (thorlos) a couple weeks after, but similar result, this time as I put more pressure on my left foot (or was trying to go easy on my right), this toe ended up getting jammed too! Very disappointed, as am left w/ a rather new pair of shoes but blue toes!

Perhaps my feet are just better suited to the Nike toe-box design. Forced to switch back.

I am a big guy with unique feet. Depending on the manufacturer, I wear a size 14 or 15. These 14.5 fit my feet well as far as length goes. However, I have a semi-wide foot. D width is too small and EE is too big. I also have custom orthotics.

I had to have my orthotics altered to fit this shoe. Shoe gives great support for lateral movements, but the shoe itself is not very comfortable. After playing tennis for several hours, my feet hurt. I am still searching for a great shoe that will fit custom orthotics better.

This has been the best tennis shoe I have owned up to date.
It has a great design and also it works great in all types of surfaces.
It also dosen't get to dirty in clay because of the materials of the shoe.

This tennis shoe is all I will ever need. It does not ever need to be updated; it's perfect and I highly recommend this shoe.

My son will not wear anyother shoe. He says that it has wonderful support for the sides of his feet and the arch support is outstanding.
