I bought these shoes for Krav Maga as going barefoot was killing me when we did bag strikes. They are super light and because the bottom is only partially rubberized they have just the right amount of grip allowing me to pivot when kicking but still affording me the grip I need when grappling. I payed full price and would do it again. 5 stars

I'm a powerlifter and I was looking for the flattest shoe possible. Before this I used chuck taylors but decided they were not flat enough as they still had a sole that was pretty thick. These wrestling shoes are awesome! They are super thin, it literally feels like you are wearing socks. I deadlifted 590 at my meet this past Sunday and I believe these shoes helped me.

I originally were looking at purchasing these because they looked professional, simple, and they were my teams color and the fact that my whole team decided on getting this shoe. I was skeptical on getting them because they looked cheap and didn't look durable. I ended up purchasing them in black anyways, I find myself liking these over my previous asics split second 7 shoes. These shoes have holes all around the shoes so your feet can breath and they don't smell. These shoes are very light so don't worry about having shoes that you have to drag your feet with. A friend had white and after 2 weeks they were pretty dirty but they look cool regardless. I have to tape my ankles to sorta act as a brace and they leave residue on the shoes but a simple wash and air dry works. These shoes also have a pocket in the tongue to hide your shoelaces so you don't have to tape your shoes. These shoes are very tight and comfortable. Probably the best shoes for the low price. If you have wide feet I wouldn't tell you to get them. Best shoes for the price for sure, beats asics matflex anyday!

The shoe fits perfect and snug. Go a half size larger than your regular shoe size as recommended by Adidas.

Absolutely great shoes for boxing, wrestling, or sport that requires a ring. But the sizes run a little small so I recommend getting a size larger then what you expect. Otherwise, it's one of the best boxing shoes I have used!

Outstanding shoes! Not only are they stylish, but they are light on the feet and you feel like you have on socks! I am not a wrestler. I bought these shoes to lift weights and I gotta say they are great for that! Being flatter on my feet improved my squats and dead lifts immediately because of the extra stability and leg drive that you get from lifting in these shoes. Ever see a powerlifter lift in socks? Well these are the next best thing...

I purchased these for the sole purpose of using during my workouts (weightlifting). I'd like to be clear in saying that these shoes alone aren't the gateway to increasing my strength training;however, these shoes provide an excellent stability. My feet are firmly closer to the ground, and have thus improved my squats and deadlifts. I

I got these shoes after breaking my smallest toe really badly. That injury set me back from training for a good two months and really affected my confidence on the mat. So, I got these shoes to give myself more protection. They are perfect. They protect my toes and allow me to grapple with a LOT more confidence than before. At the same time, I don't feel like they give me any kind of advantage. I just don't have to worry about snapping any more toes.

I have had people warn me that heal hooks will be easier to fall into with shoes than without shoes. I haven't had this problem because most of the guys at my gym don't go for heel hooks. Even so, I would much rather tap out to a heel hook than break another toe.

After retiring a pair of very old & smelly Chuck Taylors, I wanted something light & breathable without an aggressive grip for Krav Maga (a couple nights/wk we train on cushioned mats and I need to be able to pivot). Been using these for a few weeks and love them. They obviously don't provide padding on the nights I train on a hard floor, but I've sparred and trained in them on that surface as well, and if you're looking for a cushion, you shouldn't be shopping for wrestling shoes, anyway. Love the meshy construction that allows them to breathe and dry quickly for the next day's class.
