I've always liked Adidas when it comes to basketball shoes, and this was on the right track, until I actually put it to use.
Pros: Great support, decent cushion, low cut allows for flexibility. Cons: NO TRACTION! This shoe has very poor grip on a court. I've used my pair on several different courts, and I've slipped all over the place. They were used for elite level competition and I didn't stand a chance because I couldn't make quick cuts. I've tried every trick in the book to improve traction, from using a wet t-shirt to hairspray, and it never improved. Maybe it was just my pair, but the lack of traction created a lot of frustration. If taken into consideration, it is a pretty good shoe otherwise. |
