5.0 out of 5 stars excellent shoe!
Bought these shoes after having been a long time new balance fan and I have to say these are probably the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Very easy on the feet, with ample cushion, yet feel very stable at the same time. They are also very light and breath exceptionally well (especially in the toes area). No need for any gel incerts with these either. They...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not for me.
Shame on me twice for getting a shoe that has a hard mid-foot. The first was recommended by a Footaction's salesman for an Asics Gel shoe. He said I was flat-footed and need a pair of shoe with arch support or a mid-foot stiffener. After my first jog my arches were hurting me. I thought it was a new pair and needed to be worn in. Tried it a couple more times and it didn't...

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Supernova Ever, September 19, 2007
I have purchashed the adidas supernova cushion shoe for the last 5 years usually about 1 to 3 times a year depending on how many miles I am putting in and must say that this is best shoe so far. The cushioning is there as always but the overall fit and feel is awesome. I have tried alot of different shoes and have found this is the best shoe for me. Everyone needs to find the right shoe that works for themselves but I will not use anything else since this shoe eliminated my knee and hip joint pain. I still have muscle soreness but that is to be expected after hard runs but no joint pain since wearing these dogs.

4.0 out of 5 stars excellent cushioning shoe, September 15, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I am very happy with this shoe. I run about 3-5 miles a day on hard surface roads about 5-6 days a week at a reasonably fast pace. This shoe keeps my feet in good comfort during the run. I would call this a neutral cushioning shoe. I have it in a full size and a half larger than my foot measures (usa) but I think a full size larger would be fine also. Since I have hallux rigidis on my right foot (when will they get some artificial cartilidge) I need a good cushioning shoe and this fits the bill. Love the color also.

5.0 out of 5 stars Adidas Supernova Cushion 6 Running Shoe Review, May 25, 2008

I run for my university's cross country team so I go through 5-6 pairs of shoes a year putting about 500 miles on each shoe. The Adidas supernova shoes are the only ones I wear even though we're sponsored by Asics. Absolutely the most comfortable trainer I've ever worn I just can't bring myself to buy other shoes like Mizuno, Brooks, or Nike that, though they may weigh less, are much less comfortable as well. The supernova shoe is the ultimate in cushioning and support, leagues above other brands, providing exactly what you need for any novice or experienced runner. The shoe removes the constant pounding that your legs absorb and which often leads to stress fractures and other injuries. If your looking for the right mix of comfort, style and support this shoe is what you need.

This review is from: adidas Men's Supernova Cushion 6 Running Shoe (Apparel)
Shame on me twice for getting a shoe that has a hard mid-foot. The first was recommended by a Footaction's salesman for an Asics Gel shoe. He said I was flat-footed and need a pair of shoe with arch support or a mid-foot stiffener. After my first jog my arches were hurting me. I thought it was a new pair and needed to be worn in. Tried it a couple more times and it didn't get any better. So back to Nike's Air Max.

After great successes and comfort of Adidas MegaBounce and AS Trail, I shifted alliance with Nike to Adidas and decided to get the more cushioned Supernova 6 over the cheaper Orbed. For me with a flat foot and the left feet having the tendency to roll inward, this became extremely painful. More pain on the left, but not too much on the right foot. So I guessed it more of my physical makeup then just the shoe.

The Shoe
The shoe itself is fairly awesome and extremely padded on the sides and cushioned in the front and rear foot. Again I don't like the mid-foot Torque system. I have likened the wider foot design of Adidas and Asics over the narrower Nike design; typically I had to buy a one size longer for Nike shoe. The upper mesh is one of the best ventilated materials out there. Plus the looks of Adidas shoe design are more pleasing in my eyes then the extravagant Nike's deigns. I can still use this shoe for walking, because it is quite comfortable like what I did with the other Asics Gel.
Just not for my feet.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great running shoe for long distances, March 2, 2008
This is the only shoe that i can run in !
I wear a 6 mm leg lift in my right shoe underneath the inlay and i always have problems finding the right shoe because all other shoes are far to narrow on the toe box, not this one, so i bought 3 more before they stop making it.
I run with them every day and i am more than happy !

5.0 out of 5 stars Great running shoes / great price, February 16, 2008
I had the previous version of the Supernova cushion and liked them. Adidas fit my feet well and these shoes are light enough. I was hesitating to buy this new model as they were over $100. I found them on Amazon significantly cheaper and went for it. LOVE these shoes. It is the only ones I will run with now. Light, stable, breath very well, and great cushion. Also, they look pretty sweet.

Echoing other reviews, this is a great shoe with a good size toe box and plenty of cushion. I'll definitely go for another pair when time.
