I -Introduction:
----------------
There are no words to describe my happiness with this purchase! I will try as hard as I can though to describe my pleasant experience with this pair of running shoes. I have been a professional rower since 1998. We do a lot of street running; on average I run 57KM (Approx. 34.5 miles) a week. I have tried different running shoes throughout the years (Nike, Adidas, Puma, etc...) and found Adidas the best. This is my third pair of Adidas running shoes and Adidas never failed to impress me with their build quality and unsurpassed durability.

II-Design, Materials, Craftsmanship:

First of all, the design is amazing. The colours this model is available in satisfy a broad spectrum of choices. Whether you prefer a more classic look and rather discrete colours, like me, or crazy attractive ones like red and orange, you can find one that suits you. They have a timeless look/feel to them and they look great in one's feet. I was stopped at the gym several times and asked where I got mine from, as this colour is not available in Egypt. The reflectors are very well situated and guarantee you will be seen by any driver, provided that they are sober of course, in dark running conditions. The materials chosen are of top quality and the craftsmanship is perfect.

III-Cushioning, Manufacturing technologies:

The cushioning on these shoes is just great! I used to feel a minor pain in my left knee after long runs but now I don't. Here is a list of what makes them so different:

1. Lining has "geoFIT" construction, which provides you with anatomical fit and comfort.
2. Inlay is a dual-layer "adiLITE/respoEVA" antimicrobial sockliner; I sweat a lot during runs and they never stink! These shoes truly breathe while preserving your feet and toes warm.
3. "adiPRENE" in heels & "adiPRENE+" in the forefoot maintain propulsion and efficiency, provides protection from harmful impact forces.
4. Midsole has "ForMotion" for motion control, ground adaptability, enhanced transition and responsiveness.
5. Midsole has "Torsion System" bar for midfoot integrity and arch protection.
6. Outsole is "adiWEAR" outsole for best durability in high-wear areas.
7. Blown rubber outsole for lightweight grip and cushion.

IV-Sizing:
----------
I am a size 12 US and I purchased them through Amazon in size 12. However, I would recommend buying them in a +0.5 size to ensure maximum comfort. Primarily, I use them for running along with Nike No Show tactical socks (thinner compared to normal socks) and they feel great. Secondary uses include going to the gym (wearing the same type of socks) or just going out. I find them a little bit tight when wearing normal socks; however, I don't feel pain or discomfort even if I wear them for long hours with thicker socks on.

V-Care Instructions:

Running up and down the dusty streets of Cairo gets them dirty really fast. Nevertheless, they can be easily cleaned whether by wiping them off with a damp cloth or by simply machine-washing them. I wash mine every two weeks (automatic washing machine, 27min short cycle, cold water, no spinning or drying, rinse them in cold water after they come out for a minute each, leave them to air dry by the window). I have had them for almost a year now and they still look like new!

b) Cons: Sizing can be a little bit tricky. Buy them in a +0.5 to ensure comfort.

c) Best for: Running, gym workouts, everyday life.

d) Recommendation: HIGHLY recommended!

It's a great shoe but Adidas shoes are made to be slender. I wear a New Balance 4E and compared to that I could barely fit my fat foot in these. It's very misleading.

My 1st pair lasted almost 1 1/2 years of daily wearing, so I ordered a 2nd pair. Great shoes.
